Relax by the Propane Fireplace indoors alongside a full size TV with Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. A full kitchen is available including a propane range, full size fridge and complementary coffee bar. The spacious outdoor deck has a wrap around child/dog proof railing that includes covered areas for sitting around the fire table, full size BBQ, crab cooking setup and wood burning fire pit just off the patio.brbr*A bunkhouse will be added in the spring with a bunkbed, making it sleep 6 people with 4 separate beds in total. A fully stocked kitchen, with a full-size fridge and stove. A huge oversized deck to relax on, or perhaps barbeque up a fresh salmon catch, and then settle in by the stunning outdoor stone fireplace. This is a quiet and peaceful cabin community of owners and guests - there is a palpable sense of tranquility whispered in the trees and in the distant crashing of the waves.brThe cabin is professionally cleaned with a full hotel-grade linen change between each guest.brGuest access:brGuests will be given the code to access to a secure lock box for keys one day prior to arrival. There is parking for 2 vehicles, or one vehicle and one boat/trailer. Welcome to the beautiful rugged West Coast. Home to Tall Tree Music Festival, and Song'nSurf. You will see bald eagles flying around, and loads of humming birds. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and marina. We are at the end of the cul-de-sac and we are the most private property surrounded by cedars on all sides. Our property is larger than most. The name, A Shack In The Woods was chosen for personal reasons. It is not a shack by any means and we are not totally secluded . A lovely cottage by the sea, built in 2011 with approximately 450 SF. The fire pit area has slate all around and is hidden by the cedars. Firewood is supplied at no charge. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities you will need to cook up that great catch of the day! BBQ on the deck that is enclosed, which makes it ideal for your child or pet. The bedroom has a queen size bed with 2 foam topper. You have patio doors to take in the lovely sun that shines all afternoon at the front of the cottage. Ideal for those who love to sunbathe! There is a queen size hide a bed in the living room with a top of the line mattress, without bars. Sheets and quilts are provided. The bathroom has a tub/shower and is supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is a table for 4 in the kitchen. Flat screen TV, Netflix and wifi supplied. There are some games to play and some kids toys. A pet bed, dishes, toys and leash are also in the cottage. You will find 4 comfy chairs around the fire pit. Star gazing at it's best! There is loads of parking on the property. br**NEW** January 2022: Brand new propane stove for extra heat and POWER OUTAGES.brGreat area for hiking, fishing, crabbing. exploring, swimming, kayaking etc.. Avatar Grove is close by and Botanical Beach is at the end of the roadway, approximately 10 minutes by car. There are three restaurants : Tomi's, The Coastal Kitchen and the Renfrew Pub. You will find a book inside, with all the information you may need. There are fishing charters at the marina that you can hire. There is a very good chance that you will see and hear Killer whales and humpback whales. A fantastic get away from the city. Cozy and romantic, yet ideal for 1 couple, or a couple with kids.brBecause Port Renfrew is wild and windy at times, we may experience unforeseen power outages. We have candles inside and a great firepit outside.
