Ocean Front Vacation Suite - The Whale's Tale

Terrific location on the beach. Good proximity for walking, beach combing, and watching surfers and beachside fishing. Small but clean and comfy.

The unit was exactly as advertised or better. Very thoughtfully prepared. We had a great time in Port Renfrew and have already recommended this to others.

The room was very nice. Everything was clean. The bed was super comfortable. But the view! This was one of the best places we have stayed. Nothing beats sitting outside in the morning with your coffee enjoying the view. Easy access to the beach for walks. Man, it doesn’t get much better than this. The only down side to this location is the lack of a decent grocery store. The one store there is isn’t even a good as a gas station convenience store. Better stock up in Sooke.

We spent 3 nights / 4 days in Port Renfrew at Whale's Tale. The suite has everything you need, the location right on the water is so relaxing, the hosts are awesome with information about the area and are very quick to respond. This was such a relaxing and great getaway for my wife and myself. Such a beautiful and well set up suite, we will definitely be back!

This property is amazing. Clean,cozy, and a beautiful view. Everything you ever needed and wished for in a place to relax. Would return in a flash.

Our stay at Whale's Tale was amazing. It is a beautiful place to stay. The weather was beautiful, our host Carol was helpful and friendly. It's our second time staying there and we would recommend it to everyone.

This was very remarkable stay starting with the welcoming hosts. The unit is remarkably appointed throughout with an outdoor area for relaxation and wildlife viewing. The hosts were available when assistance was needed. Most of all were the unexpected gifts and very much appreciated. Our limited conversations only raised more questions. The Whale's Tail in Port Renfrew was an ideal location for exploring the coastline beaches. We loved the beautiful view of the cove from the patio and the private beach just down the steps from the yard. The unit was immaculate and tidy, with all the kitchen items we needed. The very nice bathroom had plenty of hot water, good water pressure and soft, fluffy towels. Nothing was lacking in the unit. The hostess was extremely friendly, considerate and responsive when we asked for a suggestion about the area. She anticipated every possible need. We could not have asked for a better location, rental, view or experience! Thank you!

Just what the absent doctor prescribed for my well-being. Both my friend & I enjoyed every moment of our stay. Walking on your beach reminded me of my childhood, playing in “rooms”. Driving out of town across single lane bridges, going to see beaches and campsites-all picture perfect. In my book you get 10 Stars. ?

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Carol’s well designed, well equipped studio apartment by the water with easy access to beaches, hiking and the local pub.
