Cabin was clean and cozy for two people. Clise to hiking trails.

The hosts of this property have thought about everything you could need. It was a home away from home. The cabin is very homey, warm and clean, Thank you for everything we had a wonderful 5 days in the area.

Very nice setting amongst the trees. I took off one star because it is never pleasant having to throw out old expired food items to make room for one’s own groceries. Not too much going on in Port Renfrew itself but it’s a nice base for excursions to nearby beaches and towns (Lake Cowichan). Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

What a beautiful Place to stay at the cabin was decorated very nicely and it was equipped woth things just incase you have forgotten things No we had an amazing time just didn’t know where to put the garbage but I texted the owner of the cabin and she got right back to me and told me where I had to go to drop it off Definetly will go back

The cabin was the perfect size for two,very clean and it had everything you could need right there

You had a great sty for the week we were at Port Renfrew. The place was well stocked, with everything we needed for the week. Great location and a great little patio with a fireplace. We really enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning again next year.

Perfect cosy cabin for a little getaway to botanical beach. It's in amongst a bunch of other cabins, but it still felt very private. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Everything was great. Not sure about hot water it seemed to be warm for about 30 seconds then went cold. so showering wasn't ideal. House is very equipped with everything you need, spices, board games, ketchup, mustard...ect... loved the outside fireplace as it even had firewood!.. I would stay again for sure. Thank You.

This is it's really is great cozy small cabin that is incredibly well stocked. We have never stayed in a VRBO that was so well stocked everything from condiments, spices ( some of which I hadn't even heard of), bathroom supplies, first aid equipment, cleaning supplies, assorted bags (sandwich,etc.), games, DVD's, Netflix, Prime Video candles, flashlights,aluminum foil, saran wrap on and on. The bed was comfortable with a queen sized bed. The only real negative is that it is quite small. We were on a 4 week vacation with a lot of luggage. so found it quite difficult for us to find spaces, for things. Also, there was only one stool for the kitchen counter. It would have been nice to have had 2. It is in a nice setting and quite private. All in all, I would highly recommend it and it probably deserves a 4.6-4.7.

Loved the cozy little cottage although did not use the bunkhouse. Three os us stayed but we used the cabin's couch bringing in bedding from the bunkhouse. We needed easier access to the bathroom during the night.

Mmmmmmm, just preparing to write this review makes me feel cozy and relaxed again. What a wonderful cabin and location. All well-appointed and easy to shift into, zero pressure to do anything, lol. The area is gorgeous and relaxed, fun to explore and orient. The cabin is comfy and quiet. Two of us enjoyed alternating binging tv and exploring the beaches, with an awesome dinner at the Renfrew Pub one night. Bring your own food, for sure. Easy kitchen to work with. Mmmm, I'm all relaxed now. Thanks for hosting such a lovely stay.

Very good overall accommodation at a moderate price for the Port Renfrew area. Private parking and a small but nice cabin with a separate bunk house that has twin bunk beds. There is a kitchen with everything you need, one queen bed in the cabin, and a couch that we used as a twin bed - but you need to bring your own bedding for the couch. Though some of the furnishings were dated, it was comfortable and clean.

Myself and my three kids stayed here for three days and two nights. It’s a beautiful location just a 10 minute walk away from the beach. We did four local hikes very close to our cabin.I recommend bringing your food in as the local “grocery store “doesn’t have a lot of stuff in it.I would definitely recommend staying here.

The cabin was in a great location. We loved fire pit, supplies, outdoor space, subdivision, quiet area. Suggestions-coffee on location, clear away clutter to give more space in cabin-even just for 2 it was tight. The outside bunkhouse was too tiny and lacked ample ventilation.

Close to everything, we love Port Renfrew so nothing bad to say!

Cozy & comfortable cabin with all the ammenities. Beautiful outdoor fireplace. Perfect location to enjoy peaceful, quiet solitude. Cose to fabulous beaches, hiking trails & fishing. We absolutely loved our stay!

It's a nice little place, just what we were looking for.

The covered porched and outdoor fireplace was a blessing considering it rained most of the day. The host kindly let us check in at 3 instead of 4. I waited too late to book one night in Port Renfrew at a more reasonable rate and sadly booked this cabin for a whopping amount. And to make matters worse, I accidentally booked for 1 instead of 2 people. Having mentioned that to the host, I had to pay extra. Ouch! The website was changed to reflect the extra I paid shortly after. I enquired about sleeping in the bunkie or sofa bed (the site lists it sleeps 4) but she said I would have to pay extra for the bunkie and the sofa bed was for children. I had no choice but to share a bed with my friend. I think what I paid was enough money to provide 2 separate places for people to sleep without having to pay MORE. Very unhappy. I pulled the night table out to plug in my charger and there was someone else's article of clothing covered in layers of dust. The host kindly suggested I get groceries before coming to Port Renfrew as there was not a lot of choice once there. I asked if I could at least drop my groceries off while waiting for check in but she suggested I get a cooler bag as the fridge needed to be sterilized. Upon checking in, the fridge door was full of used condiments. We had to remove our own garbage and recycle upon check out. Did I not pay for cleaning? I left to fly home so I left good butter, bread and mayo in the fridge. I'm not throwing out good food.

The cabin itself is very charming but we were quite disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. The floors were sticky and the floor mats throughout the unit were visibly dirty. Nearly all the dishes in the kitchen needed rewashing before using. Some of the furniture (bed and couch) were quite worn and not comfortable. The area and location are amazing. The owners communication was prompt and respectful.

Very sweet little cabin nestled among many others. Comfy bed. Cute porch hood for a bbq.
