Their vision for this space was a unique mid-century, spirits & cocktail inspired dreamscape. This space includes a master bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen, laundry room, living room with a pullout couch, dining area, cocktail bar, and a very unique 1960's bomb shelter turned speakeasy! Perfect for a group of adults looking to explore the city, get out into the beautiful woods & mountains of the northwest, or have a unique ski & soak experience close to both the ski resorts and the city.brbrWe are dog lovers, who encourage you to bring your pup along with you on your trip! This space has a shared back yard, where the owner’s two Aussie Doodles play for most of the day. If you do bring your dog, please do not let them out in the yard if our dogs are out there unless they are friendly and well-behaved with other pups. Also, please do not leave your dog unattended in the yard. There is a $75/dog cleaning fee for every dog. If any glitter or confetti is found or if you bring more than 4 guests, you will be charged an additionally cleaning fee and a negative review for not following our house guidelines.brbr**Important:** We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. You'll be required to pay for a $35 Damage Waiver or you have the option to Pre-authorize up to $500 to be charged in case of accidental damage with a Non-refundable $15 transaction fee, in addition to the reservation cost. We are a non-smoking property. Fern Haus is 5 minutes from SEA airport and close to light rail. Burien is a small community with great restaurants, shopping and breweries. Des Moines marina is 10 minutes south with restuarants and parks. Seattle’s T-Mobile and Lumen fields are 15 minutes to downtown, Seattle's Pioneer Square and the waterfront. Fern Haus is ready for you with 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds, comfortable mattresses and hypo allergenic hotel style quality bedding. There is one full luxury bathroom with walk in shower featuring a rainfall shower with an adjustable hand shower and heated floors. There is a powder room off the kitchen. Our home is basically on one level with two steps in the front door and one step down to the family room with smart tv which opens up to a big beautiful patio and amazing back yard with patio dinning, hot tub and gas bbq. The kitchen is the center of our home with a large island and top notch stainless steel appliances gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator. We have stocked the kitchen with quality dishes, glassware, cookware and serving pieces. There is room for your family here with 3 bedrooms a front living area with gas fireplace, big open kitchen and large family room with another gas fireplace. Step outside to our patio with string lights on the arbor and a bbq. The garden has plenty of grass to play on with nice shade trees and is fully fenced. Steps away to the big hot tub set at 101 degrees. There is easy parking for 3 cars. We are close to the airport but we have upgraded insulation for a peaceful nights sleep. A newly installed EV charger is availble for an additional cost. Enjoy our private home like a luxury resort! Dog friendly if your dog is well behaved and under 50 pounds. Requests for more than one dog must be pre approved by owner. Each dog is an additional $25 per night per dog. Sorry no cats or other animals at this time

Along with all of this wildlife, other water activity is going on such as sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, kite surfing, beach combing, and even swimming. Truly a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest!brbrA fully-equipped kitchen is bright and open, perfect for entertaining. The full bathroom is located on the main floor. A queen bed in the loft type bedroom has french doors onto a small deck furnished with chairs and a table perfect for your morning coffee and view of Mount Rainier. A small room with a single bed is just off of the upstairs bedroom which has additional room for a pack-n-play for a baby or small child if needed. The downstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bathroom is in the garage, perfect for showering after hanging out on the beach. brbrThe house is on the opposite side of a narrow city road from the beach. On the beach side of the house is parking for two cars, and a great fenced in, private sitting and dining area, a gas fire pit, and ramp to the beach.
