Spacious and charming home in a park-like setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! Everything we needed for our 6 person stay for a nearby wedding. Michael was a very responsive host, but we had little contact as everything we needed was easily found. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in Burien! We were in town for a wedding with family ranging from toddlers to grandparents, and this house worked perfectly for everyone. There was lots of space to spread out, a great yard for the kids to play, and the covered porch with a swing was such a nice bonus.The location was awesome — close to a beach park where we spent a lot of time, and super convenient to the airport without being noisy at all.The host added so many thoughtful touches that made everything easy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying here. It is super close to the airport, 10 minutes away on an early Monday morning. It’s also close to downtown Seattle, it took us 20-25 minutes to get there. The house itself was great. We used the deck a lot (no bugs) to play games and Michael set up the badminton net for us to use. The rooms were exactly as shown in the listing. The house was super clean and comfortable with a fun history. I would recommend staying here. It was so nice to go back to the peace and quiet after a day of going and doing things.

This was perfect for our family!!**We are retired and traveling with our daughter and grandkids! We loved the space to spread out the kids toys, adults had a puzzle on the table and an awesome porch swing for rocking the five month old. **We enjoyed the restaurants and parks in Burien. This was a great home base for us as we visited many relatives in the Seattle area. It was so quiet and peaceful on a dead end road/lane. I would definitely come back!!

We really enjoyed how quaint the house was. It was easy to get to the freeway and it is in a very quiet neighborhood. The host does stay in an apartment above the house but we didn't mind that. He was very pleasant and welcoming.

Perfect setting for our gathering in Seattle! The bedrooms were perfectly appointed, super comfy beds! Loved the historic accents in the house. We gathered every evening around the dining room table and enjoyed reminiscing and playing cards.Thank you Michael for your hospitality! I hope one day to return!

We had several family members from out of town staying at this location near our daughters wedding venue,It is a fun quirky yet beautiful historical home that is ideally located near The Cove wedding venue!Michael is a very hospitable and welcoming host and went out of his way to accommodate a change in our arrival/departure!Everything works very well with lots of free space for multiple people to hang out comfortably.The outdoor space and porches are gorgeous! We would definitely rent this home again!

Historic charmer with all the comforts of home.

Immaculate older home in a terrific location. Great, safe neighborhood with easy access to trails, parks, and nice walks. Property has great privacy and mature landscape. Quiet, peaceful location close enough to town amenities, but not too far.

This house is big and has great spaces everywhere. Can’t decide if my favorite was the breakfast nook or the wrap around porch with swing. A great place to gather for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Even if it’s raining you can sit out on the porch. My whole family loved this house.

Very nice updated place. A great neighborhood for walks and close to a waterfront park. Owner was very responsive to all our questions.

I wouldn’t know where to begin. This home has everything you need for relaxation and entertaining. The kitchen is well stocked and we used the barbecue grill several times. The bedrooms were spacious and so comfortable. It was a lifesaver to have a bed for our one year old grandson and a high chair so well padded. The 3 bathrooms sure came in handy when our family who live in this area came to visit. We enjoyed our walks each day around the neighborhood and to the parks. The spacious outdoor deck with so many chairs was so nice. We enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon:evening wine on the deck. And having two living rooms inside with comfortable seating was great too. We loved the formal dining room table because it was spacious enough for all of us to gather around for the meals that we ate while staying on the property. We will surely stay in this home again!

Our stay in the Seattle area checked all our expectation boxes. We had a perfect house for a small family reunion. Hanging out on the porch together--wine, cheese and family. It was relaxing for all even for our 2 dogs. The kitchen was well equipped and had a number of spices. Michael was a wonderful host welcoming us with a bottle of wine plus coffee and tea for the morning.

The house is fabulous, a quiet location with outdoor games and plenty of room inside for a larger family to relax comfortably. The period features and homey touches make this house a great place to stay. The host is very responsive and welcoming.

This is a fantastic older house from the 1920s and has so much charm. The owner has everything you need including fans which we used. The best part about this property is it is secluded from the other homes around it.

We had a wonderful stay. We spent 4 nights and the house was beautiful and spacious. The kids had a great time. We visited Seattle Space Needle, Seattle Great Wheel and Pikes Marketplace. The stay at the home also had games the kids played and had a great time. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

This is a beautiful home, that is very private and peaceful. We loved our stay here. The kitchen was well appointed. We loved visiting with our daughter here. Also, just a quick drive to downtown Seattle... which was fun. Make sure to visit downtown Burien...so many great places to eat...we loved Bakery Nouveau!! Michael was very accommodating and helpful!
