The charming village of Langley is a mile and a half away - a five minute drive or a walk along the beach - with shops, galleries, restaurants, and more. One highlight of the Log Castle is that the kitchen and two bedrooms are each in the eight-sided tower - try not to argue over who gets the top tower room with its phenomenal views. Downstairs, in addition to a living room/kitchen area there is a small bedroom with a new full size bed with a 4 inch topper. Also, there is 3/4 bath with shower. Sit on the deck and enjoy views of the Cascades, Mt Baker, Mt Rainer and across the Beautiful views from Mount Rainier to Mount Baker, as well as, Hat Island, Mukilteo and Everett. Literally 10 steps down a slightly sloping concrete ramp. There is a dog gate and a door with which to close off the upstairs. Please note that dogs should be washed off outside - not in the shower. Washing them in the shower will necessitate the damage deposit not being returned. (Which goes directly to the cleaner.) Do not leave your dogs alone in the cabin or yard if they bark. This makes the neighbors crazy and I immediately receive irritating phone calls! I'm a long time dog mom so I understand that this is inconvenient for you. It is stocked with rainbow and coastal cutthroat trout.brbrBeautiful Whidbey Island awaits you with this welcoming dog-friendly vacation home. You are right on Goss Lake, a very peaceful location that's still only a short drive from Clinton, Langley or Freeland. If your entire vacation is based on having a hot tub and it is a must item please book another property with a proper hot tub.
