Private Cottage and Hot Tub, Spectacular Sunset & Mtn Views

From the initial warm greeting from the host s, this was a perfect stay! Cabin was one of the most well appointed places I’ve ever stayed- the furniture was comfortable and tasteful, kitchen had everything you could want or need, hot tub was immaculate!! The space itself was very thoughtfully laid out with attention to detail and I felt as though I was staying in a cozy home rather than a “rental property.” The unobstructed view of Puget Sound was enchanting! While the owner’s home is adjacent, the thoughtful layout ensured both complete privacy and quiet. I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for a week at this beautiful cottage overlooking Puget Sound. Eileen is a gem of an owner (her husband was gone for the week we were there). She was so helpful and friendly. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed, quality furnishings, bathroom, bed and deck. We ate breakfast every morning on the deck and usually ended the day in the hot tub or sitting on the deck. The views and sunsets are amazing!!

Dave and Ilene were wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend their cottage for your next stay. Everything was clean and in excellent condition for our visit. The views were incredible from the deck and hot tub. We felt we had good privacy and were left to enjoy it as if our own. The location was convenient to the City of Seattle and surrounding area. We were a short distance from the airport, but were not impacted by flight traffic at all. It was a quiet and peaceful place to relax. Thank you again!

This was such a serene place to unwind after a busy week in Seattle. The apartment itself was so pleasant, with an indoor and outdoor space and a beautiful view of the Sound. Enjoying the stunning sunset from the hot tub was the highlight of each day. Dave and Eileen were extremely attentive and available hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay great. All around excellent place to stay!

My stay was perfect in all ways. Dave was a very welcoming host and has made the cottage beautiful inside and out!!!!! Not even a piece of dust anywhere!!!!! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The views, indeed, are constantly spectacular!!!!! I even added several birds to my bird watching life list. So nice after a long, active day to relax in the outdoor hot tub. There is no doubt that you will find everything you want here and make a return reservation, as I hope to do!!!!!

Staying here you feel like you’re far away from the hustle and bustle. Yet you’re very close to the airport and can be in downtown or on the ferry in under half an hour. You’ll be hard pressed to find a lovelier view of the Pugent Sound and the Olympic Range from the deck with hot tub, table and umbrella, barbecue and fridge. This is a well designed space for two with everything you’d ever need. It’s truly lovely.

After a day in the city it was nice to come back to the quiet cottage and watch the sunset

Absolutely beautiful cottage, very private and cozy with an epic view. We needed a place to just be and breathe and relax, and this was perfect! We spent hours in the hot tub and just listened to the quiet. We are very particular wanting a hot tub that is outside with an amazing view, and also very private. Thank you for hosting us, we definitely plan on returning!!

My husband and I needed a getaway from life for out 10 year Anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Owners were very kind and accommodating. Available and helpful when needed and left us alone when nothing was needed. The cottage is very cute and comfortable with essentials. The view is amazing and probably even better during the warmer months when the sky is more clear. We very much enjoyed our stay and if we get the chance to get away to the area (just the 2 of us) again, we will book again no doubt.

This guest house over the owners' garage is exactly as listed. The hot tub is well maintained with love and care, and not overly chlorinated which was a pleasant surprise. That view is everything! Very happy parking was provided too. For the price, I would have appreciated non-Keurig coffee with real half and half, since the shelf stable creamers were chunky and drinking meh coffee in Seattle (or anywhere) feels like sacrilege. More than one bath towel per person (I have long hair) would have been nice, but I'm sure I could have asked for one, since the owners are next door and very attentive. The bed was a little too plush for our firm mattress preference. I think this is a common trend for upper scale rentals to equate super plush with luxury, which while fantastic for the bathrobes they provided for the post hot tubbing chill, makes for not the best sleep. Although, that's just personal preference. All in all, cuz it's really all about that view and hot tub, I'm so pleased to have rented with Eileen and Dave. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and this spot made it special. Thank you!

Owners were very helpful. Everything was very clean. The king size bed was actually king size and extremely comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. The patio has a great view of the sound, we had our coffee there each day. The hot tub was super clean and we enjoyed the comfort of the tub after long days going around Seattle.

We loved staying in this cute home in a quaint coastal neighborhood that was still very close in driving to all the main Seattle attractions. Escaping the 100 degree weather of Texas to sleep with the windows open at night was lovely. We enjoyed mornings and evenings listening to the birds and watching the boats sail by on the balcony. Highly recommend this cottage as a relaxing retreat!

This was our first time in the area, and the cottage was great. The views and local area were wonderful, and we were close enough to Seattle to explore.

My husband and I wanted to spend our 30th wedding anniversary in the Pacific Northwest. We wanted something close to Seattle but with a more relaxed atmosphere so we could enjoy some peace and quiet after spending time in the city and beyond. Dave and Eileen‘s place was perfect for us. We loved the location, the beautiful views of the water and mountains, and watching the sunset from the hot tub at night. They were great hosts and we would highly recommend a stay with them!

This was the perfect get away location. It allowed you to feel incredibly remote, while also only being 20-25 minutes away from major tourist locations. Dave and Eileen couldn't have been better or more gracious hosts. They provided excellent recommendations of how to do the touristy stuff, but not feel like a tourist. The property itself was immaculate and had everything you needed.
