Enjoy the fire pit on the patio and terraced stairs down to the lake where you will find a large dock to enjoy boating, fishing and swimming. There are two moorings available to keep boats secure overnight.brbrThe house can accommodate up to 12 guests with a variety of configurations - perfect for active families with teens or tweens. brbrThe lake front is easily accessed and has a large dock. It is ideal for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. brbrThe bright walk out basement/patio level has a pull out couch (sleeps 2) and large sliding doors directly onto the patio. There are also two daybeds which are perfect for lounging and relaxing. The washer/dryer can also be found on the basement level.brbrThe first floor has an open floor plan with large sliding glass doors which open onto a deck above the patio. The kitchen has a new induction oven, cabinets, and granite countertops. The kitchen table can comfortably seat 6 and there is also seating at the breakfast bar. The full bathroom on this floor has a large shower.brbrThe second floor has a huge seating area with a sectional couch, flat screen TV and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, a set of twin bunk beds and a toddler bed. This bedroom can sleep 2 adults and 2-3 children comfortably. There is a closet and a larger dresser in this room. The second bedroom has a double bed and dresser. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units in the windows. This floor also has a second 1/4 bathroom.brbrThe third floor hosts two loft bedrooms. The first loft is accessed via a ladder from the seating area and has two twin beds. The second loft is accessed from a ladder in the second bedroom and this has a double bed. These loft spaces are great for kids and young adults. They are not airconditioned.brbrThe location of this home is on a quiet road ideal for biking and walking. Enjoy the seaplanes as they land in front of the house and the boats that travel the passage. brbrThe Alburg Dunes State park is approximately 5 miles away and has a beautiful sand beach. Enjoy dinner out at the North Hero House, Shore Acres or Ruthcliffe Lodge which are all within a 10-15 minute drive. There is a small local grocery store and ice cream stand less than a mile away which has all the essentials for a home away from home.brbrThe home is available 7 day rentals with check in and check out on Saturdays. This home is managed by the owners of the home who are local to Vermont and reside in the town of Charlotte which is an hour away. They enjoy the home throughout the year and are available to answer any questions that might arise during their guest stay.brbr100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date if the property gets rented. If the property sits idle as a result of the cancellation there will be no refund.

It found its forever home on the shores of Lake Champlain on the Alburgh peninsula. From that time forward, it has been a source of pure whimsy and enjoyment for all who enter. It features three bedrooms, bathroom and living room on the second floor. The first floor features a kitchen, family/dining area , laundry room, and half bath. The home is enhanced by a huge lakeside deck that gives you the feeling of being right on the water, because you are! The property boasts 119' direct lake frontage with nice beach area and gradual entry to the water. While the home has modern amenities, it retains the charm of yesteryear and is waiting for new memories to be forged for generations to come!brbrThere is a grass lot across the street with tons of parking. Boats and trailers welcome!brbrI live across the street, so I’m very available!brbrAlthough we list the property as a max of 8 guests, we prefer no more than 6 adults. See Below.brbrThe house is right across the street from the lake. A nice floating dock and great water access make this a home a fisherman's dream! And cook your catch on the bbq grill on the deck behind the house. Plenty of lawn for yard games too!brbrIslands Only management is right down the road!brbrGreat local stores with deli, meat counter, and groceries.brbrJuly 2019brClean and beautiful home. The house had plenty of space for our family of 8. Easy access to the water and plenty of yard space/parking. The kitchen had all amenities which made cooking/grilling easy. My only advice would be to bring bottled water. We had a great time and would recommend this home.brbr*Please note that this home uses a well water system. It is treated with an injection system and then filtered, but Sulphur odor remains strong at times . Although ok for showers and dishes, It is not potable. Please bring bottled water until we get town water down this street! brPlease be aware the town has pushed back their timeline. It may be next Summer before the project makes it down Poor Farm Rd.brWe require our contracted renters to be 24 years old or older.
