This custom built home sits just steps from the lake with a dock space and swimming area. Spend your days enjoying the lake views and sunsets on the wrap around porch and use the open floor plan for family gatherings. This home is meticulously maintained and offers year-round living for all four seasons. There is plenty of room for your family and friends. Close to Killington (45 min), Okemo (45 min), Rutland (20 min) and more!brbrThe property has a dock, swimming/fishing area, deck, front porch, ground floor deck, fire pit, grill, outdoor dining and seating access to tons of biking and hiking trails, and views of the lake with beautiful sunsets. This is a dead end road and quiet. Perfect for walking, bike riding, and exploring hiking trails around Loves Marsh. The north end of the lake is perfect for kayaking or paddleboards. It is often much calmer water than the south main body of the lake.brbrOur Lakehouse sleeps 9 comfortably with 4 bedrooms. 1 bedroom is on the first floor for ease of access. From almost every room, beautiful lake views. Although a stretch, one of the reasons we bought this quirky property was because it reminded us of our travels to the Amalfi coast: steep cliffs, fast cars and a short trek to the water....IYKYK. brbrOur home is well situated. It has lake access, a private dock and two kayaks for your enjoyment (must wear life jackets). Its walking distance to the LakeHouse Restaurant and Crystal Beach, a mile from the Taproom at LB Restaurant and Neshobe Beach. A kayak ride from all of those as well as Bomoseen State Park. 7 minutes to the town of Castleton, 10 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to Rutland, 30 minutes to Middlebury, 40 minutes to both Killington and Okemo/Jackson Gore ski areas.
