Our home was built in 2010 and recently expanded in 2020. It features top quality construction from one of Manchester's finest builders. Sitting just above town affords great views of Equinox and down valley and matches convenience with great location. Its a short walk to all the great things Manchester has to offer - shops, restaurants, etc. brThe house is technically a 4 bedroom home and each bedroom has its own full bathroom ( with radiant floor heating). There are 3 upstairs bedroom suites ( with attached bathroom) and all are very large. The first master has a queen bed, attached bath with whirlpool tub- incredible views west of Equinox- very inspiring. The second master, also with incredible views of Equinox, has a queen bed and a large attached bath. The third upstairs bedroom, with attached bath, has 2 extra long singles which can be put together to make a king. The first floor has a large family room, living room and den with a full bath. On the ground floor there is a rec. room which serves as the 4th bedroom or suite with a queen pullout sofa- and an attached bath. There are 4 TV's throughout the house with cable ( streaming) and Wi-Fi. There is a EV receptacle in the garage- NEMA 14-50 ( 220V, 40A).brThe house has an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, living and dining areas. We purchased this home in June 2017 and have put a lot of time and effort into making this a home away from home for anyone. Just 7 miles (11 minutes) from the Vermont Summer Festival. We are 15 minutes to Bromley resort and 25 minutes to Stratton. The property has an easy access paved driveway and plenty of parking for large vehicles. brbrThere are mountain views from the back and the front of Birch Valley!brThis home is 3 Minutes to the heart of Manchester and 5 Minutes to the heart of Dorset.brNo Pets allowed. Our family has allergies and can't chance any pets. If you're interested in booking this house please send us a request include the dates and times you'd be interested in, as well as a little about your family/ group. brbrThe open floor plan includes a large dining room, great room, loft and a grand kitchen. This space allows for large groups to congregate with viewing access to all three areas. There are so many things you will love about our home in Manchester, Vermont, but I will begin with the wonderful feeling of stress and tension escaping you the minute you walk in the door. The house has four bedrooms and two and a half baths plus two living rooms and an eat in kitchen. Located on a private road and situated high into the trees surrounded by nature. I think of it as our treetop house because looking out into the tree tops and even further out into the mountains, it is a view that you will never get tired of. The house is very light and bright with many windows to be a spectator of nature from every room. Without the stresses of daily life, you may find yourself inspired to create and cook wonderful foods to enjoy, and the kitchen is equipped with all you need. The counter height table in the kitchen doubles as a center island. The table expands to seat up to eight people at once or just set up a buffet and have the whole family stand around and enjoy. The deck has a gas grill for barbecues and a patio set for outside dining. The upper level living room has beautiful surrounding windows which helps bring the outdoors in. Once the leaves have fallen there are beautiful mountain views from both living rooms, kitchen, office and two bedrooms. There is a fireplace in the living room inviting you to enjoy a glass of wine and some Vermont Cheddar with fig spread, or just roast some marshmallows with the kids.brThe rooms are all filled with comfortable beds inviting and cozy. There are two bedrooms upstairs one with a queen size bed and the other with a full size bed. The hallway bathroom has a spacious shower equipped with hand rails and a bench for those who need some extra support. Downstairs on the lower level there is a second living room with beautiful surrounding windows similar to the living room upstairs. This living room contains a queen size sofa bed. There is a TV with Xfinty cable, DVD player, and a table for gaming, card playing or just to set out some snacks. There are one and half baths downstairs. The full bath has a shower/bathtub for the little ones. The third bedroom on the lower level has two twin size beds and the fourth bedroom has a queen size bed.brThere is an bright office with many windows to work on your laptop and keep up with the outside world, or for the kids to finish up their homework. Xfinty cable provides cable TV, telephone and wireless internet. There is also a full size washer and dryer in the mud room. The house features an attached garage for easy entry into the house. brNow with all this in mind you are in Manchester Center, centrally located to enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing, relaxing at the lake, or just enjoying all the wonderful shops and restaurants Manchester has to offer. Bromley Mountain is a short 6 miles away and Stratton Mountain only 15 miles away. Vermont Summer Festival is 6 miles away, Emerald Lake State Park is 8 miles away and Outlet Shopping is only 3 miles away. There are two major grocery stores in town Shaws and Price Chopper. Manchester’s own Dana L. Tompkins Recreational Park has fields, tennis courts, walking path, playground, skateboard park, basketball courts and in the winter enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing. You can go hiking at nearby Prospect Rock Trail and Lyle Brook Falls Trailhead and don’t forget to visit Dorset Farmers Market every Sunday.
