Come enjoy a peaceful Vermont get away! This home is set on 5 acres in Manchester Center, Vermont. It is surrounded by White birch trees so we named it Birch Valley. We purchased this home in June 2017 and have put a lot of time and effort into making this a home away from home for anyone. Just 7 miles (11 minutes) from the Vermont Summer Festival. We are 15 minutes to Bromley resort an 25 minutes to Stratton. The property has an easy access paved driveway and plenty of parking for large vehicles. brbrThere are mountain views from the back and the front of Birch Valley!brThis home is 3 Minutes to the heart of Manchester and 5 Minutes to the heart of Dorset.brNo Pets allowed. Our family has allergies and can't chance any pets. If you're interested in booking this house please send us a request include the dates and times you'd be interested in, as well as a little about your family/ group. brbrThe open floor plan includes a large dining room, great room, loft and a grand kitchen. This space allows for large groups to congregate with viewing access to all three areas. The spiral staircase up to the loft is great to hang out in the futons and enjoy the mountain view through the two skylights. The wood burning stove installed in 2017 is wonderful to enjoy and visible from the kitchen, eating area, loft and main great room.br Birch Valley has mountain views from almost every room in the house. There are many beautiful spot to sit outside on the front balcony or the back 30' deck.brWe installed new heat/air conditioning through out the house in December 2017. Each bedroom has its own A/C & heat control. brFive bedrooms includes sleeping for eleven people. brThe top floor includes Three bedrooms-brThe Equinox Master suite with a King bed includes a private bath. brThe Stratton bedroom and the Bromley bedroom both have a queen bed. They share the full bath in the same hallway. brbrOn the main level has 2 bedrooms. There is a full bathroom for these two bedrooms to share. br-The Battenkill bedroom is very spacious with a queen bed and one extra long twin. br-The Mt Aeolus bedroom is the fifth bedroom with two twin beds.brbrbrIn the winter time enjoy snowboarding and skiing at three areas Bromley, Stratton and Magic mountain. In the summer close by is the Dorset Quarry and Vermont summer festival.brLocal year - round attractions include gourmet restaurants and cozy coffee shops within minutes, exceptional art galleries and outstanding musical performances and of course Hildene (Robert Todd Lincoln's summer home). br We are 4 minutes from The Equinox hotel. The house has four bedrooms and two and a half baths plus two living rooms and an eat in kitchen. Located on a private road and situated high into the trees surrounded by nature. I think of it as our treetop house because looking out into the tree tops and even further out into the mountains, it is a view that you will never get tired of. The house is very light and bright with many windows to be a spectator of nature from every room. Without the stresses of daily life, you may find yourself inspired to create and cook wonderful foods to enjoy, and the kitchen is equipped with all you need. The counter height table in the kitchen doubles as a center island. The table expands to seat up to eight people at once or just set up a buffet and have the whole family stand around and enjoy. The deck has a gas grill for barbecues and a patio set for outside dining. The upper level living room has beautiful surrounding windows which helps bring the outdoors in. Once the leaves have fallen there are beautiful mountain views from both living rooms, kitchen, office and two bedrooms. There is a fireplace in the living room inviting you to enjoy a glass of wine and some Vermont Cheddar with fig spread, or just roast some marshmallows with the kids.brThe rooms are all filled with comfortable beds inviting and cozy. There are two bedrooms upstairs one with a queen size bed and the other with a full size bed. The hallway bathroom has a spacious shower equipped with hand rails and a bench for those who need some extra support. Downstairs on the lower level there is a second living room with beautiful surrounding windows similar to the living room upstairs. This living room contains a queen size sofa bed. The full bath has a shower/bathtub for the little ones.
