And about an hour from Burlington which is nestled along Lake Champlain. br brNear our place, you can go hiking on the long trail, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and trout fishing on the Brewster and Lamoille rivers – there are even waterfalls and swimming holes framed by canopies of trees. Over at Lajoie Stables, ride a horse through the woodlands or go on a sleigh ride in winter. You can also visit maple syrup farms or swing by Boyden Valley Winery & Spirits to taste small-batch maple bourbon, crème liqueurs and wines. And for a dining experience among nature, book a farm dinner and hayride at Valley Dream Farm.br brAll this, and we haven’t even gotten to the resort activities that are steps away from this centrally located condo.br brHike and mountain bike along wooded trails or head up to Sterling Pond for a picnic and fishing at the highest-elevation trout pond in Vermont. Bring your competitive spirit to the basketball, tennis and sand volleyball courts. Or slow the pace with shuffleboard, horseshoes or disc golf on two courses. brbrThere are also scenic picnic areas and playgrounds throughout the resort. Come winter, explore three mountains – Morse, Madonna and Sterling – which offer more than 1,000 acres of terrain for skiers and snowboarders. Your view is of a glorious maple tree that glistens in the sun and rustles ever so in afternoon breezes. Take a seat and let go as sunlight streams in through the leaves. And in fall, just wait until you see its rich red color against the blue sky. It’s spellbinding. br brLIVING & DINING AREAbrOur living and dining area invites you to relax after a day exploring Vermont. A cozy mountain vibe is anchored by a beautiful pine wall and vaulted ceiling that slopes upward. Sit back and talk for hours on our comfy gray sofa. Bask in the amber glow of the electric fireplace. And cue up Netflix for a movie night. Stovetop popcorn and a Stowe-based Heady Topper beer pair well here!br brDuring the day, natural light filters in through sliding glass doors – making this a peaceful place for a meal at our dining table for four. Kids can also color and work on puzzles here.br brKITCHENbrOur open kitchen is filled with pine cabinets in a warm honey hue. There’s plenty of space to prepare a family picnic or cook delicious dinners for your crew. We have all the kitchen tools and dishware you’ll need. And these appliances: A refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. In the morning, coffee is on us – we provide K-Cup pods for the Keurig.br brAnd when you want someone else to do the cooking, restaurants at the resort include Morse Mountain Grille for hearty breakfasts and Village Pizzeria for custom pizzas and wings. Please check the resort website to see which eateries are open during your stay.br br3 BEDS DOWNSTAIRSbrTwo twin beds are located in a nook by the kitchen. This is an inviting space with a skylight above in the vaulted ceiling. Homey touches include pine wood wainscoting, bedside tables, blue lamps and throw blankets. We love the wooden snowshoe and framed ski trail maps in here.br brOver in the living room, get a good night’s sleep on the pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two.br brLOFT BEDROOMbrA staircase off the kitchen takes you to our loft bedroom. Here, a king bed sits beneath a high ceiling with a wood beam. Our skylight brings in natural light – and a blue sky view. You’ll also find more pine wainscoting, wooden nightstands and lamps, and color pops of blue on the bed. There’s also a smart TV and shelving for your belongings. br br2 FULL BATHROOMSbrThe en suite bathroom for the loft bedroom has a large mirror and walk-in shower. Downstairs, this bathroom comes with a bathtub / shower combination so you can soak away any aches after hiking or hitting the slopes. Both bathrooms also have these touches: Pine wood cabinets and glass shelves for your toiletries.br brAnd don’t worry about bringing shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We’re happy to provide these for you.br brBUILDING AMENITIESbrOur building has extra amenities that make your stay even better. A laundry room with complimentary washers and dryers is on the first floor. As is a ski locker room for storing your winter gear (bring your own lock). The Mountain Massage Center offers spa treatments ranging from a maple sugar massage to a princess experience for kids. And don’t miss the sauna! There is also a library room where resort classes take place. In addition, our building is near the Treasures child care center.brbrGuest will have access to the condo, library, laundry, ski lockers and any public areas of the resort such as picnic areas, outdoor playgrounds, basketball court, shuffleboard, skate park, and hiking and biking trails.brbrThe unit has a digital keyless entry, so you do not need to contact me for entry. Please do not contact the front desk, contact me directly, we are not part of the resort. You don't need to give us updates on your stay, but do contact us through the Air BNB app if you need anything. I usually respond within minutes at all hours. I'm here for you as much or as little as you like.brbrThe condo is in the smugglers notch village. Just minutes from smugglers notch state park and beautiful Mount Mansfield. So much to do in summer whether you like mountain biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, wine tasting or antiquing, it's all right here in the smugglers notch area. The beautiful, scenic drive over smugglers, notch to the quaint town of Stowe, VT takes about 25 min. You'll be an hour's drive from Lake Champlain and Burlington, VT. Close to Vermont's best hiking trails and highest peaks. Access to the long trail, sterling pond, elephant's head, the chin and the notch are all a short drive 10-15 min. 5 min to the Brewster Uplands trails system and brewster river access. Walk to the smugglers' notch trail system from the studio.brbrThe resort offers so many activities within walking distance, some free, some require a fee. On resort grounds you'll find water parks, pools, multiple restaurants, gift shop, grocery store, ben & jerry's, bike rentals, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, championship disc golf course, mini golf, indoor fun park, tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a swimming pond and many open grassy areas for picnicking. Note: the resort charges for use of some facilities (water parks, pools, Funzone, lift tickets, bike rentals, ect..). We do not include them in your stay and can be purchased through the resort after you arrive.brbrFree shuttle around resort. Free parking throughout resort grounds.brbrSTOWE ACCESS IN WINTERbrIt takes about an hour to drive to Stowe in the winter as Smugglers’ Notch Scenic Highway closes during this time, meaning you have to drive around the mountain.br brRESORT DAYCATION PASSbrYou can purchase a daycation pass to access even more seasonal amenities at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. In summer, the pass is good for 8 swimming pools, 4 waterslides, 2 swimming reservoirs, a FunZone complex, daily kids’ activities, mini and disc golf, 2 mountain bike parks and more. In winter, it covers ice skating, bonfire gatherings, snowshoe and cross country trails, snow tubing, an indoor pool, winter activities and more. There are also daycation passes for spring and fall.
