With a couple trips to and from the cabin, you can easily master it and once you get there, the view is absolutely worth it! brbrDRIVEWAY: The driveway leads downhill and has a steep and narrow entrance that gradually levels off near cabin and can only accommodate 2 cars to allow room for a 3-point turn. brbrWELL WATER: Water supply is solely from a private well and is safe to drink but we suggest bringing bottled water. Please be aware that during certain, unspecific times of the year, the well can yield less water than usual and could appear brownish when you first turn on the faucet. This is normal and clears up quickly and does not affect the quality of the water. Please practice water conservation to avoid loss of water. brbr- Timing of water usage is essential because high usage will deplete the well before it can replenish. The washing machine and filling up the bath tubs are the most detrimental to the well supply and use of these items should only take place during times when water use through the rest of the cabin is minimal. After use of these items, the well will need to be replenished so please allow adequate time before heavy water use. brbr BUGS AND WILDLIFE ANIMALS: The cabin is in the woods so wildlife and bugs are to be expected. Although we have a pest control service that sprays monthly, you may still see bugs both inside and outside. Make sure to leave windows and doors closed behind you. We have provided brooms and a vacuum in case you want to use them. You may see bees, squirrels, raccoons, bears, turkeys, snakes, scorpions and other wild animals during your visit and may hear some critters come out to play at night. Take caution and watch your step! brbrBEARS: Bears may be present and visit the area occasionally. Bears look cute but they are dangerous. If you see a bear, stay away from them and DO NOT FEED the bears. Keep all doors locked and windows closed and do not leave food/drinks outside. br brWEATHER: No refunds for inclement weather or natural disasters. The main floor offers a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area offering seating for 8-10. The living room offers a 65-inch Flat Screen TV and a blue ray player. The main level bathroom offers a one-step shower, sink, and toilet area. The master suite offers a king size bed with a ceiling fan directly above it. There are wrap around windows from floor to ceiling that offers views and sounds of the waterfalls. The master bath offers a large changing area with private toilet, shower, and sink. This cabin is wheelchair friendly on the main level.brbrThe main floor living room offers two sofas centered around the river stone fireplace and television. As you ascend the stairs to the upper level, you can enjoy a view of a cow hide and multiple bear carvings along the side of the steps. Nestled in the upstairs nook, there is a wooden carving of “Luther”, the colorful mountain man that “watches” over the cabin. The second floor offers a second Master Bedroom with a king size bed. You can also enjoy views and sounds of the waterfalls from the second floor.brbrThe lower level oversized bedroom offers 2 king size beds. There is even 2 bathrooms with showers in the lower level. You then walk into a large multipurpose room that offers two arcade games as well as a Whiskey barrel pub table with seating for four. There is also an area for those snacks and drinks during your favorite movie night. It offers a full-size refrigerator and cabinetry with countertop which offers a microwave and coffee maker for those morning snacks and coffee. The room leads directly to the lower-level deck which offers a hot tub with views of the waterfall and direct access to the creek. It is a great area to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of cove creek. brbrCreekside provides amazing views of Cove Creek from the upper and lower decks of the cabin. Creekside is also a fisherman’s dream, and you can get a fishing license online. The back deck is so convenient that you can call your fisherman in for lunch without having to leave the cabin.
