The house is located on West First St with spectacular, unobstructed views of the ocean. brbrFrom 2009-2020, we owned another 8 bedroom home at Ocean Isle Beach and earned over 110 5-star reviews from our Vrbo guests. We took all the things we loved about that house, made them bigger and better, and added some things from our wish list. You can see the old house here, and we're responsible for all the reviews from December 2020 back: https://www.vrbo.com/2573689 brbrThe 4th (top) floor hosts the main living room with ample comfortable seating, an 85-inch Sony UHD 4K TV and a bar area with a wine refrigerator. The kitchen and dining area is located on the top floor, with a dining table that seats 10 and bar seating for 9 more. The top floor also contains a king bedroom with private bath, as well as a full-size laundry room with a second refrigerator, washer and dryer and an ice maker that stores 25 pounds of fresh ice. The 4th floor deck has an outdoor dining table, ceiling fans and plenty of comfortable seating for taking in the stunning ocean views.brbrOn the 3rd floor (middle) you will find a second large living room, a king bedroom with private bath, and another king bedroom that shares a Jack-n-Jill bath with the bunkroom. Each side of the Jack-n-Jill has its own sink and toilet, connected by a shared shower/tub combo. The bunkroom contains 2 full-over-full beds. The living room has a 75-inch Sony UHD 4K TV. The fabulous ocean views can be seen from the 3rd floor deck which has rocking chairs and a swinging day bed.brbrThe 2nd (bottom) floor contains four king bedrooms, 2 of which have ocean views. All 4 first floor bedrooms have private baths and TVs. The 2nd floor also contains another full-size laundry room with the same 7.4 cubic ft GE washer and 4.5 cubic ft GE dryer located in the top floor laundry. Both contain an iron and ironing board and we provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets.brbrThe ground level has an 8' x 18' private pool. (Small, we know, but big pools at OIB are almost non-existent because the lot sizes are so small. If you are training for an Olympic swimming event, then our house may not be for you, but if you just need to take a dip every so often to cool off while you are laying out, then we have what you need). The pool can be heated in the spring and fall, and because it's small, it can essentially serve as a huge hot tub. The outdoor living space contains a lounge area with a TV and a gas grill, and the large side yard is the perfect place for a game of cornhole. There is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot water.brbrIn November 2024, we installed a Tesla Universal Wall Connector that provides Level 2 charging to Teslas and most non-Tesla EVs.brbrSo you can pack a little lighter, we provide a beach cart for transporting chairs, coolers and other beach gear. A fabulous destination, Ocean Isle Beach, boasts wide sandy beaches, and lots of recreational activities for all. It is a perfect place to enjoy a week at the beach or a quick get-a-way. Our condo is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that is fully equipped to provide a great vacation experience. It is located in the Starboard By The Sea complex, sits on the sound / marsh side of the island and offers fantastic views of sunsets. Enjoy sitting on our covered deck, with your favorite beverage, and watch the sun set! brbrThere are a total of 6 beds and the condo will sleep 8 people. We have a queen and double bed in each of the larger bedrooms plus 2 twin beds in the smaller bedroom. New mattresses were added in April 2016 and 2017. We do not provide linen and towel service. br If needed, contact owner who will provide names of local people who will provide these items. There is a fully equipped kitchen, central air, washer / dryer, flat screen HDTV, and Wi-Fi.. There is a wall mounted TV in the master and second bedroom. Beach chairs, rafts and fishing equipment are provided for guests (located in our storage room). Covered ground level parking with space for 2-3 cars is found under our condo. The beach, with private access, is a short 3 minute walk away. There are 3 tennis courts throughout the complex and one of the courts faces our condo. The complex has 3 Swimming pools (with 1 of the swimming pools located on the beach). The swimming pool at the beach has a deck area, with rocking chairs, that overlooks the ocean. brbrWe completely remolded our kitchen and both bathrooms in December 2012. We have brand new appliances and state of the art fixtures in the kitchen. The master bath has a shower stall, while the hall bath has a standard tub / shower unit.brbrOcean Isle is located between Myrtle Beach, SC and historic Wilmington, NC ( a 30-35 minute drive either way). Southport, NC, with its quaint shops is located 35 minutes away. There are over 20 great golf courses within a 20 minute drive and Calabash, the seafood capital of the south, is located 20 minutes away. In addition, there are several great restaurants (Ocean Isle Fish Co, Sharky's, Pelican's Perch The Isles) on the island. Over the bridge you will find Sugar Shack (great Jamaican food) and Maria's ( Italian Food). Take a short 10-15 ride to Shallotte Point to visit the Inlet Bar and Grill (this place offers views of Ocean Isle, Holden Beach, the Intercoastal Waterway, Shallotte River and the Atlantic Ocean!). Ice cream shops, and stores are located on the Island. Also, there is a miniature golf course, plus a fishing pier for your enjoyment. Across the bridge you will find several shops, 2 large supermarkets, fresh seafood, and a motor cart track.
