Named after the State Shell of North Carolina (with a nod to our Scottish ancestry), this stylish four-bedroom home is a wonderful spot to be able to access the beach, tie your boat to the dock to access the Waterway, or just go fishing and crabbing right outside your door. An outdoor bar area lets you enjoy the sun setting while unwinding at the canal. brbrYou will arrive to find towels and linens provided in each room with the beds already made for you by our cleaning crew (a service that would cost more than $300 if arranged through a private company), all of which is included in the cleaning fee. There are two bedrooms on each floor, with the bedrooms on each floor sharing a Jack and Jill style shiplap paneled bathroom. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the second with two extra-long (XL) twin beds. The second floor has one bedroom with a king bed and another with two double beds. brbrThe kitchen is well appointed and provides ample workspace for meal preparation. A Traeger Pro Series grill is located outside by the bar area. The kitchen table can be expanded or contracted with an insert to accommodate the appropriate number of people. The beach is a short walk from the house and there are lots of beach toys/supplies in the garage - chairs, wagons, boogie boards etc. brbrPeak season (memorial day to Labor day) we rent Sunday to Sunday full weeks only.
