There’s a lifeguard at the beach access on duty during summer months. Gather for family time in the airy living/dining area and adjoining kitchen containing all the amenities of home or find privacy in one of four spacious bedrooms. Rather be outside Enjoy breakfast at the family table on the screened porch or pick crabs around the picnic table on the deck. Relax in a rocking chair or hammock with a good book. Nestled in the heart of Kill Devil Hills in a neighborhood mixed with vacationers and residents, Murph's cottage is conveniently located a short walk or drive to shops, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater, miniature golf, fishing pier and children’s waterpark. There are 4 bedrooms—BR #1 Q, BR #2 Q, BR #3 Pyramid (S over F with trundle), BR #4 California K. Each bedroom has an en suite half bath (basin and toilet). There are two showers with adjoining changing areas--one inside and the other enclosed outside the cottage. An additional area behind the outside shower has a washer and dryer and storage containing beach chairs and cart, cornhole, etc. Four clothes lines and a fish cleaning bench are also available. All outside lighting is wildlife friendly and should be used only when needed and not left on overnight. Inside switches are labeled with green turtles.
