Enjoy the large flat screen smart TV in the comfy living room, cooking in the spacious kitchen or sitting on the wrap around deck with your favorite drink of choice and let the kids play in the large yard which also offers a gas BBQ for use.brThe location is perfect for visiting the quaint mountain town of Cashiers with local stores and boutiques as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, waterfalls, skiing at Sapphire Valley Resort in the winter, renting a boat on Lake Glenville, fly fishing, Blue Ridge Parkway or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (about 1 1/2 hours). From mid-October through early November you can see the famous Shadow of the Bear off Highway 64 on your way to Highlands. The shadow appears around 5:30pm for about 30 minutes on sunny days.brbrThis property is one of the few vacation rentals right in the town of Cashiers. The complete upper level is for your use - surrounded by one acre of grass and wooded area with a stream along one property line. Our own property management company office with separate driveway and parking is located on the lower level of the building and closed on weekends. It is usually very quiet and doesn't have a lot of traffic.

What better place to soak in the views of Whiteside Mountain – the oldest granite mountain in the world. In the fall, be treated to the fabulous colors that our region of the Smoky Mountains from the partially covered deck. There is a gas grill on the upper deck with ample seating. The spacious living room, on the entry level, has a large flat screen TV with satellite service, a wood-burning fireplace and access to the deck. There is even a bench by the window with plenty of light and warmth where you can catch up on some reading. The entry level has a powder room off the living room. The kitchen, located just off the living room has an island, great lighting and equipped with a Keurig coffee pot. There is a dining area off the kitchen with a dining table that seats 8. The king master bedroom has a large walk in closet and a private bathroom with a walk in shower as well as a jetted tub. The upper deck is accessible through a glass sliding door and there is a covered sitting area where you can relax. There is no TV in the master bedroom. Upstairs, the loft has a twin bedroom as well as a king bedroom, both of these bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. There is no TV in either of these bedrooms.
