The home offers numerous windows and a large screen porch to invite the picturesque outdoors to the interior.
The recently decorated, two story home ...with a large queen bedroom on the main floor...two bedrooms upstairswith two baths. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The home features hardwood floors ,woodburning fireplace, gourmet kitchen, and garage. As noted each bedroom has a bathroom. The gourmet kitchen offers Viking and Subzero appliances as well as a comfortable sitting area for socializing with the “chef”. There is an outdoor entertaining and cooking area with gazebo, sitting area and gas grill...outside the screen porch. The home is on a unique and beautiful property that offers every comfort of home. The home and grounds are maintained well and kept very clean (regular maid and yard service).
Cashiers is an outstanding location for outdoor sports such as hiking and fishing. The Highland Hiker and Brookings fishing post offer guides or information. You are in the Blue Ridge Mountains and near the Blue Ridge Parkway…with all the outdoors offers. The Highlands Cashiers Chamber Music Festival, Highlands Playhouse and the Cashiers Village Green offer cultural activities. In winter the adjoining Safire Valley community offers winter sledding and tubing. I recommend The Laurel Magazine, Cashiers Chamber of Commerce, Macon or Jackson County NC Dept of Tourism as sources for finding local events and activities. The area is a perfect balance between a small charming village and a natural setting. Thus the home offers the perfect location to enjoy the outdoors in the smoky mountains.

    One of the most beautiful and well stocked homes I ever rented. Every room was decorated beautifully and furnished with so many treasures. The kitchen had high end appliances and a large island. My fellow travelers particularly enjoyed the comfortable screened porch for eating and relaxing. The bathrooms were large and luxurious. The location was lovely and convenient. We enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood. Anne was so thoughtful to check on us. Putting my car in the garage was an added bonus. I give this home a much higher rating than allowed.

    We just can't say enough good things about this lovely home or about Anne, who communicates hospitality via email, text and every detail of her house. Rarely have we found a home where each single thing truly felt like . . . home. The mattresses (!), sheets, towels - fantastic. Hangers in the closets - yes! So often it's the little things that are so frustrating but at this house, they're all perfect. Anne has all the details down and has been a consummate and patient communicator. The beautiful yard and lovely flowers inside and out were an unexpected bonus that we savored each day of our stay. A talent for interior design and hospitality shows and we loved every minute at this house.

    This was a truly special cottage- so charming and well-maintained inside and out. The owner seemed to go above and beyond to make it feel clean and welcoming. We felt like guests, not renters. Great location- very close to Cashiers town center and easy access to area hikes.
