Cedar High - Beautiful Mountain View Home!

Arrived to house with no heat in 25 degree temps. Had to pull mattresses into room with fireplace and sleep in floor in sleeping bags. Master toilet did not work, shower was dirty and outside gas fire pit did not work. Temp was 51 in house and miserable. Slept with space heaters, fire place and piles of blankets and sleeping bags. HVAC finally fixed and house warmed up 24 hours after arriving. Other issues were not fixed. Rental company said the owner would make an offer to make this right but have heard NOTHING for a week now.

Great house for family gathering inside and on the beautiful deck outside.

The bed sheets were messy, furniture was old/ starched, pans were NOT clean, floors were dirty. power went off, no generator, exterior was dirty, mildew, need cleaning, trash in yard & on slope to lower level.

The hpuse overall is really great! Very comfy! I did find the pgotos to be a little decieving... Especially for the inside of the house. The living room and dining room are a little smaller than they appear in photos. Overall though, the house is greta, the deck is amazing. The manager never wrote back about a broken cupboard and I wish we could get 4 pillows for a king instead of 2. Really awesome house!!!

It was a wonderful week and the house met every expectation! We will defiantly stay with again.

The location and amenities in this home were fantastic! We had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying family time. Gorges state park did not disappoint and is very close by! Easy access to Cashiers and Highlands. Just one note of caution. We forgot to lock our car doors and had a bear encounter! He opened car door and got snacks left on the console. Luckily , he didn’t tear anything up and sauntered down the drive. Never saw him again but check your surroundings when heading out! Gave us a great story to tell! We loved our stay! Can’t beat the deck with gorgeous views!

Very nice mountain view but sitting on deck is marred by noise of Hwy 64. If looking for complete quiet, you may need to go further up the mountain. House needs a refresh; floors, cabinets and furniture are somewhat beat up. Its not bad, just not good either. Good location to Cashiers but feels separated from it. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable.

Beautiful property in a great location with gorgeous views. Kitchen was well appointed and bedrooms were very comfortable. We had a great trip!
