We stayed at this lovely cabin for a long weekend to enjoy the outdoors and disconnect - and it delivered! The cabin was comfortable and in a peaceful setting, with easy access to the BRP. It is a drive to get to Canton and Waynesville, where the closest restaurants and grocery stores are, as mentioned in the description. The spiral staircase and main bedroom were really cool, though could pose a challenge to pets and those less mobile. Overall, we had a great experience at this place.

The cabin and the location was exactly what I was hoping for. I’ve spent time hiking, backpacking and fly fishing in the area and know it well. Shining Rock wilderness with summits over 6000 ft, Cold mountain, the middle prong wilderness, mountain to sea trail are all just a step away. It was wonderful to have such a nice pace to stay that allowed me to share this paradise with my wife. The cabin turned out to be a gem of a place. It’s as charming as the host showed it to be in pictures and description. I’m eager to come back.
