Stayed Jan 3, 2025Where do I begin? This cabin is incredible! Just when we thought we saw it all, there were more surprises that left us so excited, we are definitely coming back! I can tell they had the customer in mind when designing the place. - Full body mirrors in every room? never had that in a rental place. - FULLY stocked kitchen and pantry! so all you need to buy are basic groceries. - Blankets and towels FOR DAYS! They are literally everywhere. And separate towels downstairs for the hot tub.- Entertainment for all ages, I can spend a month there and not run out of things to do or play with.- MASSIVE and secluded property, with their own hiking trail!! What?! they even provided hiking gear for us to use! There are so many more surprises that I won't spoil for you, but seriously- BRAVO. You should teach people how to vrbo!

Stayed Dec 13, 2024It was a great visit! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. So many things to do inside if bad weather. Hiking was a possibility with supplies for that, too. Unfortunately, we were there for a wedding and didn’t get to do as much as we could have at the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub and the stars. Interesting wildlife sounds at night. We’ll have to come back to appreciate all this cabin has to offer. Chris was a great help with answering questions and he had great ideas for things to see on our way to the cabin. Thanks, Chris!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice place with plenty of room, lots of games and activities, nice fire pit.Location is good, relatively central to a lot of area attractions. White water rafting on the Chatuga is about an hour and a half away, and places like pigeon River and French. Broad are about an hour. Good zip lining within 45 minutes to an hour. Probably about 45 minutes outside of Asheville.Owners made sure that there was plenty of items stocked in the pantry in case you forget something. Plenty of towels, nice big hot tub. The road in is dirt and has a couple of rough patches, but should be accessible to any normal car. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jul 2, 2024This cabin has everything you could ever hope for and more. I won't go into detail and spoil the surprises, but we could not believe the amount of things to do that this place provided! We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed it. It fit our family of 5 perfectly. From the hot tub, to the fire pit, to the outdoor activities, everyone loved this place. If I had one criticism, it would be the amount of cameras pointing at you in all locations. It really felt like you were being watched and listened to all the time and it created a concern of lack of privacy. I'm not sure if it was my place that I wouldn't install some cameras on the outside too, but the quantity and locations of them bothered us somewhat (bird feeder cam by the hot tub and the trail cam pointing right at the yoga platform for instance). Other than that, this place was amazing and we would highly recommend it to friends and family. Thanks again for offering this great place to spend some quality family time!

Stayed Jan 19, 2024I booked this cabin for a lowkey girl's weekend celebrating my best friend's upcoming wedding. The location was perfect and so charming. The house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials needed. The only disappointment was we thought there was a 5th bed (in the sunroom) like advertised but it was a futon that was broken. But it worked out ok, two of us just had to share a bed. This property is just a short 15min drive to Waynesville which is the cutest town. And there's grocery stores and gas stations nearby. Even though it was absolutely freezing the weekend we went, we loved our stay and would definitely come again.

Stayed Sep 25, 2023Perfect for a long or short get away. The cabin was perfect, cozy, clean. After a day of adventures the hot tub was the perfect ending. Area is very quiet and we had 3 deer as guests in the front yard. I would highly recommend!!!!

Stayed Jul 3, 2023We loved this property and all it had to offer. From the moment we drove in we felt perfectly at home and loved the natural surroundings. It may even be one of my favorite family stays we’ve had in NC. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed Jul 22, 2023The place was awesome. The house is old but has everything you would need for a great vacation. We traveled as a family with 4 kids. The house stands on 5 acres of private land, with pine woods at the beginning of the entrance, a bamboo forest behind the house with the mountain view from the bathtub, there is a neighbor's house higher on the mountain to the right but you can barely see it. The kids were busy playing with basketball loop, pickleball, arcade/table games, puzzles, and huge DVD collection. We also hiked on the territory of the house, there were a couple of trails marked with arrows. Turkeys, squirrels, and cardinals were spotted in the area. In the evenings it was fun to gather around the fire pit and burn some marshmallows (the logs were provided). We rafted on the Tuskagee River, hiked in Graveyard Fields (Blue Ridge Pkwy), Chestnut Mountain Park, Shining Rock Wilderness Park, and swam at Sunburst Hole. The weather was perfect and we appreciated the mountain's cool air.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family of 5 had the most AMAZING stay at this rustic and beautifully decorated cozy cabin home tucked away in the woods with plenty of hiking trails and all the comforts of home. Bocce ball, basketball, fire pit, putting green, hot tub, shuffleboard…you name it they had it. Beautiful views of the mountain, with back patio and this cute little amazing zen room to just relax and enjoy the scenery with morning coffee. The area also has amazing restaurants as well as micro breweries to explore. Each brewery we visited had its own unique vibe. Thank you for a family get away we will never forget! Hope to be back soon!
