There is also a ping pong table in the loft, as well as a Twin over Full bunk bed. Nestled in the pines and oaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this authentic log cabin gives you the slowed-down feel of NC while being only minutes away from the bustling heart of ASU, the Boone Greenway, restaurants, & shopping. brbrFrom the real pine timbers to the handcrafted woodwork inside to its unique family roots that can be traced back to Daniel Boone himself, this cabin has a feel of its own that you simply have to experience for yourself. brbrThis is a three-story log cabin with a bedroom and full bathroom on each floor. On the top level, there is a master bedroom that features an en-suite jacuzzi tub. Walking out of the master bedroom is a spacious and peaceful loft area adorned with large glass pane windows, a sleeper sofa, and a writing desk (this was our son`s favorite place to study when he was a student at ASU). On the main level, there is a large open-ceiling living room with an additional sofa bed, and a gas fireplace; that opens up to the dining area and kitchen, making it easy to entertain while cooking meals. Down the hall from the kitchen is another bedroom and a full bathroom. On the bottom level, there is another cozy living area with the final queen sofa bed, a small breakfast table, a kitchenette, a bedroom, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. Outside the main level and bottom level are two wide wrap-around porches where you can enjoy watching the deer, birds, and squirrels as they visit the fields and woods surrounding the house. brbrWe respect your privacy and will give you space but will be available if needed.
