ALL bedrooms are en-suite and have their own bathroom. There is a primary king primary bedroom suits on levels one along with a queen bedroom with a pocket door to a full bathroom. Level two has two king suites - both with king beds. Bedroom 3 on the upper level is an en-suite with a king bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower. This suite has an office with a day bed with a trundle and a great mountain view. Bedroom 4 on the upper level has a king bed with double sinks and a walk in shower. Bedroom 5 and 6 en-suites on the lower level both have king beds with a tub/shower combo. The home can accommodate 14 comfortably in beds. All the bedrooms as well as the great room have Smart TV's to connect to your favorite streaming apps. We have HI SPEED WIFI internet that is able to handle any needs including streaming movies, downloading, zooming, etc. The game room has foosball and air hockey as well as a TV. There is a movie room on the lower level. Bring your Tesla or EV with Tesla adapter. We have a Tesla charger for your use.brbrThe property is very quiet, peaceful and private and sits on 3 acres with breathtaking views all around. The large front deck and covered patio have rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the views. The large back deck is perfect for entertaining with a charcoal BBQ, large table with seating for 8 and cozy outdoor furniture in the covered section. The amazing outdoor spaces are the place for relaxing and watching the sunrise and sunset. Enjoy the mountain views and listen to the sounds of the forest below. For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. Our community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls that adjoins the Pisgah National Forest. Enjoy a really unique getaway. You will feel away from it all yet you will be only 15 minutes (8 miles) to Black Mountain and 30 minutes (23 miles) to Asheville, NC. brbrThe home and kitchen are very well stocked with all your basic supplies needed for your vacation week. There is a microwave, toaster and air fryer, regular drip coffee maker, Keurig, hot water kettle, crock pot. The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens. brbrWe take cleaning our house very seriously. We have instructed our crew on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, airing out the cabin during cleanings, disinfecting all surfaces including counters, door knobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc. brbrWe keep our availability calendar up to date. Please check our calendar before inquiring about availability. We usually respond to all email inquiries right away or within a few hours. Come REST and RELAX at the house affectionately known as the “Little Blue House”. I am more spacious than I look. My back deck will make you feel like you are in a tree house, where you will hear the creek flowing in the background. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the close by trails for long or short adventures, golf, antique shopping, bluegrass music, breweries and more! I give special discounts to law enforcement, fire personnel and school teachers. Three floors: Master with private bath on main level, 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs, 1 bedroom, bunk and bathroom on basement level. Sleeps 10 to 13. 2 king beds, 3 queen beds, 3 single beds and a futon. 3 1/2 baths. Wifi, cable, central air, stocked kitchen, and outdoor charcoal grill. I am sorry but the gas fire place has been removed! NO YOUTH GROUPS! Sorry have had issues! Lastly PARK IN PARKING SPOTS! DO NOT PULL DOWN CLOSE TO HOUSE! Thanks

Horace was a “small house designer” who was part of the faculty at Black Mountain College in the early 1940s where he taught design and construction. After his career at the college, Mac designed homes throughout Black Mountain over the course of the next two decades. This home was built in 1947 and recently renovated with careful intention to keep the spirit of the home’s design intact.brbrThough quirky in style, the home is highly functional for all aspects of living, including a kitchen/dining area; a living room overlooking the backyard; a master bedroom with an adjoining half-bathroom; and an additional room which can be utilized as a workspace, studio, or additional bedroom.
