We stayed for two weeks and absolutely loved the Black Mountain area. Black Mountain is very close to many other popular cities like Ashville, Hendersonville, Waynesville, and many beautiful waterfalls, trails, exc. There are also several other excellent restaurants like the Black Mountain Bistro where you can get an amazing filet mignon for 30 bucks and Louises Kitchen for breakfast. Get their pancakes with the vanilla syrup, you won't be disappointed. There are also many wonderful coffee shops, but my favorite by far is the Dynamite Roasting Coffee Bar. They have an amazing Mocha Latte. While you're walking around town, you have to stop at Kilwins Ice Cream Shop. They have the bets chocolate peanut butter ice cream cones, so yummy! Then there's Chimney Rock with amazing views and so much more. Some of the smaller surrounding towns are still picking up the pieces from Helene, but they are open and need our support. If you get a chance, please go to the Lake Lure area and support the local restaurants and shops. They are open and you can also see how devastating the floods affected that area. I could go on and on about the Fall colors, the bears and deer but I'll stop for now. Please check out this amazing small town and support the locals as they continue to rebuild this beautiful area. We plan on moving up here within the next 6 months, so that's how much we love it there!

The house is comfortable and beautiful. It is equipped with all you’ll need for your stay in abundance. It’s very close to Black Mountain. The host is easy to communicate with and is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.

As advertised and exceeds expectations. The owners could not be nicer. Highly recommended and would definitely go back again.

The house was what we needed as we were up in the area helping with hurricane relief efforts. Great easy to get to location and great amenities. Host was upfront with current water conditions and communication was open and quick. Would definitely stay in the house again when the area returns back to normal visiting.

A nice property, that could use some maintenance and updating. The neighborhood, and the neighbors, are great. Hopefully Black Mountain, and the entire region, make a full recovery because it's a wonderful town.

Cozy cottage. Comfortable living area and well stocked kitchen if you decide to do a few meals in. Two screened in porch areas (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs). There were just the two of us but the downstairs bedroom was very comfortable. Would be a great space for families with two additional bedrooms upstairs. Close to a charming downtown area. Minutes from Asheville and a short drive to so many other spots like Chimney Rock, Blowing Rock and of course a visit to The Biltmore. Would also highly recommend the LaZoom comedy bus tour and the French Broad chocolate factory tour. Good communication but we also had zero issues with our wonderful stay.

This house suited our short stay in Black Mountain perfectly. It's a nice newer house than some of our other stays in the area. Also, very convenient to downtown Black Mountain and the golf course.

The house is clean, cozy, well-decorated, functional. We all loved it, just the right size for a vacation for a family of 7. The kitchen is well stocked and was able to cook breakfast with ease. Nice space to relax after a day of activities. Very much recommended!
