The twin bedroom also has access to streaming apps. brbrLocated in the remote Chestnut Falls subdivision, this cabin is about a mile from the Buckeye Recreation Center, which offers indoor and outdoor tennis, an outdoor mountain-style playground, a ball field, walking, and hiking trails along Buckeye Lake. The center provides fitness classes and children's activities. Canoes and paddleboats are available and located right next to the dock at Buckeye Lake. Just visit the recreation center to rent boats and pick up your paddles and life jackets. The lake also offers a fire pit area and BBQ facilities such as picnic tables and grills. brbrBeech Mountain Ski Resort is located 4.5 miles of curvy mountain roads from the property, a 15-minute drive.brbrImportant Informationbr- The driveway is paved, which greatly improves access. However, the town of Beech Mountain does not maintain the road to the property. Renters should prepare for driving in snow. 4WD and tire chains are necessary if accessing the property during winter weather. brbrPlease note: There are two cameras at the property to document package delivery and monitor the trash cans for bear activity. Welcome to Dogwood Den!brbrLocated in the town of Beech Mountain, Dogwood Den offers a quiet retreat with fast access to year-round activities in the High Country. The home has been newly furnished with three king beds, two sets of bunks, and three full bathrooms. Step into the living room, where you can gather around the gas fireplace with flat screen TV mounted above. The TV is equipped for streaming, so bring your logins and stay caught up on your favourite shows or movies! Take a break and have a foosball tournament at the coffee table with built in foosball. The dining table comfortably holds 10 guests, and two additional barstools are nearby in the kitchen. The well-appointed kitchen includes granite counters, a toaster over, and the induction cook-top (please be sure to read the guide provided for tips on cooking with induction!).brOne king suite is on the main level, with a private TV and access to a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination that also opens to the living area for guests. Upstairs, you'll first come to the nook with a twin over twin bunk bed. To the left is the second king suite with TV, luggage racks, and storage. The private bathroom provides a double granite vanity and a tub/shower combination with both a rainfall showerhead and a handheld wand. To the right of the bunk area is a hallway with the laundry neatly tucked behind bi-fold doors. A third full bathroom is across the hall with a tub/shower combination. At the end of the hall is the third bedroom. It features a king bedroom to one side, and a twin over full bunk on the other, perfect for anyone with little ones. On ethe dresser between the two is a smart TV.brbrThe back deck is accessed from the kitchen and dining area of the home. You'll find a gas grill that is connected to the main line for convenience. A cast iron dining set allows you to bring part of your group outside for brunch. Sip on your coffee or tea and wait for the Beech Mountain deer to pass you by. They are wild, but very docile! The deck has stairs to the lower deck and offers a gate for the main deck if you need to keep a close eye on little loved ones. The lower deck is covered and private and has a newly installed hot tub (July 2023). In the yard is a fire pit with plenty of Adirondacks. Bring your marshmallows and relax under the stars!brbrAdditional notes: br- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.br- This home allows up to 2 dogs for an additional rent of $25 per night per dog plus taxes. br- The town of Beech Mountain requires AWD/4WD and potentially chains in order to access the mountain in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly!br- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice for $25 per night plus taxes. This provides two wrapped bundles of wood and a firestarter per nightly bundle.br- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
