It was perfect for a beautiful weekend with the family.

Cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. Felt like home away from home ( might want to consider replacing frying pan) Beds and pillows very comfortable! Close to town and ski slopes. Excellent stay!

Thumps down: It's well equiped but not clean enough. There is no TV in the bedrooms. Thumps up: Hot tub Near to markets and restaurants.

Convenient location close to town, very easy to find. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, and I really appreciate that there were different types of pillows available (some flatter and some fluffier). Wifi worked well and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day. Host communication was fantastic.

Host was so welcoming and accommodating for my sweet pup! House is located in a perfect spot, so close to everything!

Host was very responsive and helpful. We had a beautiful snow during our visit which made the driveway a bit slick and the host kindly arranged for the drive to be plowed. The home was clean and well cared for. The bedrooms were spacious. The screened back porch was lovely and private, and the hot tub was wonderful—clean, with strong jets. The location was incredibly convenient to both Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. As some other raters have noted, the home is directly on the parkway with a bit of noise, so it’s good to be aware of this before traveling. There was a large volume of traffic on the parkway the weekend we stayed due to the snow and an influx of visitors heading to the top of Beech Mountain for skiing/tubing. It was nice for us to be so close to a main road, though, with the driving conditions. Some other reviews mentioned the enclosed side yard with fence. There is a nice side yard, but the fence is not fully enclosed—it is a partial front fence with open hilly back. For an active dog, leash walking may be best. Love that you can bring your dogs to this home!

Me and my partner had an INCREDIBLE week at this beautiful, cozy cabin. It has every amenity needed for a week of skiing, like the awesome hot tub, and fireplace to warm up, a full kitchen, an awesome backyard to play in the snow….the owners were so accommodating when I needed to extend my stay a day to be able to arrive before a big winter storm hit. Another really great perk is the location - it sits right between Sugar and Beech mountain, making it very convenient and easy to travel throughout Banner Elk and surrounding areas. This is the kind of cabin I will certainly rent over and over again and eventually take my future kids to. 100/10 experience and amazing hospitality. We can’t wait to come back here again and again in the future!!

The hot tub was AMAZING! The living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable but overall great place to stay!

This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my family. It is in a great location only two miles from downtown Banner Elk and a short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after full days of exploring. All the extra amenities we needed were provided (more than I have experienced in other rentals). The fence in the front yard gave us peace of mind to let our dog and 1 1/2 year old roam while we all spent time outside. A light snow on the morning we left was the icing on the cake!

Cabin was very clean and accommodating, lot of road noise as located right off highway.

This cabin wasn't only cozy, but it was extremely comfortable and clean. The hot tub was amazing! These things along with the location being so close to Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Grand Father Mountain and Boone makes this the place to stay.

The cabin was great for us and our dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. It was only 5 minutes from downtown Banner Elk. It does sit along a road and with it being a busy weekend for fall foliage and Octoberfest going on, it was understandable for the traffic to be more than usual (this was only during the day, at night it was quiet) We saw lots of deer and chipmunks on the property during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean home. Very cozy and quiet. Hot tub is wonderful. Hosts are very kind and easy to communicate with. Close to Banner elk restaurants and great Beech Mountain Views. We have stayed here before and we look forward to when we can go again! Highly recommended this place and its hosts!

Bad location, no air conditioning, loud traffic noise

We've stayed here three times and plan on continuing to. The property owners are very responsive and compassionate to the guests' needs. On our last trip, our dog was having health issues and we had to cancel our initial travel. They let us rebook two weeks later with no charge. That was our last trip with our dog Hazel and I'm very grateful for the memories.

Cozy rustic cabin with mountain decor. Plenty of space in the 2 bedrooms. Two full baths was appreciated. Older but functional kitchen was stocked with kitchen items needed to prepare meals. Hot tub on the back screen porch is an added bonus. Good communication and easy Venmo payment to the owners. Definitely recommended.

The cabin was a great spot to relax while attending a wedding in Banner Elk. Extremely close to the venue, restaurants, shops, and all the skiing. Beds were comfortable and the fire place was awesome. The hot tub was the cherry on top!

My family had a wonderful time at the cabin. 10 min to the ski hill. Our dog was secure in the enclosed side yard. We will be back.

Perfect location between 2 ski resorts/mountains. Hot tub added benefit for recovery after day on the slopes. Excellent communication with host. Looking forward to a return stay with my wife.

This was a perfect location and cabin to fully relax and get a day of skiing in. The host kept me well informed and gave details to facilitate the stay with no guess work. This will be a repeat for sure.

This place is so adorable, it was very clean when we got there, everything worked great. Property is right on the main road but once inside you can’t even hear the cars, it’s not bad at all. We didn’t have any issues with it. The location is just so convenient to everything. The hot tub was great, and the fire place. We did wish that the out door fire pit was not so close to the road, we didn’t use that but the indoor fireplace was a dream and the owners were so kind and very communicative. If you are looking for a perfect location near the city and both Sugar and Beech mountain than this is a great place to book!

I would recommend this place to anyone. Very clean and plenty of space. We are going to make this our annual trip.

Could not have been more pleased with this cabin! Very convenient to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. Extremely clean and comfortable. Loved the hot tub on the private screened in porch! Host was most accomadating. Would definitely rent this cabin again.

We had an amazing time at this rental for a long weekend. The cabin is clean and has everything you’d need for convenience for a short stay. Back porch is such a little haven with the hot tub and the wildlife out in the woods. Felt secluded while still being very close to stores and restaurants. Also a very short drive over to Grandfather Mountain where we enjoyed a little hiking. The owner was incredibly nice and responsive and made sure to make our stay enjoyable. I can’t recommend this property enough!

Great, super clean and quiet little cabin! Awesome location minutes from Grandfather Mountain and the center of Banner Elk. Looks just like the pictures and exactly as described. My wife & I loved it!! It was the perfect size for us and precisely what we needed.

The house was great. It rained several days so porch sitting was in order. We enjoyed everything about the house except the location. When I booked I didn’t realize it was so close to the road. The noise from the traffic was very loud. Sleep was disturbed also. Except for the noise everything was great.

This home served our needs very well. Came up for a few days of hiking and we loved this cabin. Very good communication with owners. Check in was super easy. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and hot tub on the back porch. We would certainly stay here again next time we come up!
