Exult in the spaciousness afforded by the soaring 25-foot vaulted ceilings and the natural light streaming through huge windows — golden hour never looked so good.

Handy small appliances – crockpot, waffle-maker, and toaster – are also at your fingertips. You’ll find plenty of counterspace – including the kitchen island – and all the cookware, bakeware, dishware, flatware, glassware, serving-ware, storage containers, and utensils you need to prepare and serve your favorite recipes.

Grab your morning hot beverage from the coffee bar, featuring both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig combo. The machine also doubles as a hot water kettle, along with provided ground coffee, K-Cups, teas, creamer, and sweeteners.

DINING
Dine at the bench-style table for 10-12, supplemented by barstool seating for 4 at the kitchen island (also a sweet spot to sip hot beverages or enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a snack).

Or dine al fresco at the table for four as you watch the sun set from the back deck – which you can easily access through sliders from the inside dining area. You’ll find a gas grill on the front porch, along with a table for two, where you can enjoy a nice beverage.

OUTDOORS
While you’re outside, explore two gorgeous acres, check out breathtaking ridge views, discover nearby hiking trails, listen to the water rush down Bear's Creek, and observe wildlife – guests love the deer visitors. Or just relax on Adirondack seating on the covered deck. Best of all, soak your stresses away in the 6-person hot tub off the master bedroom.

In the evening, gather the group as you laugh, tell stories, and make memories and s’mores around the fire pit.

MAIN LEVEL

Whether you’ve been skiing, exploring all the local area has to offer, or just hanging out enjoying the many amenities of Bear's Creek Lodge, head for a restful night’s sleep in your choice of five bedrooms, all with TVs, as well as fresh and extra soft linens.

Discover in the Primary Bedroom on the main level, a custom log king bed flanked by bedside tables with lamps. You’ll love the high ceilings and easy access to the back deck and hot tub. You’ll have a dresser, closet, and nightstand drawer for storage. Lull yourself to sleep watching the 49” ROKU TV with guest mode. Everything was very comfortable, plenty of beds, cozy, very pretty 3 story cabin, everything we needed and more. The kids (12, 14, 16) and I hiked Grandfather, Roan Mountain, Elk River Falls, etc. The weather, views, and fall colors were spectacular. We ate all our meals on Beech Mountain (truly the best breakfast ever) and Banner Elk. We enjoyed all the games (and even hide and go seek), and the nice sectional couch in the theater room was how we chose to end each night (Maze Runner trilogy) after many hours of some of the best hiking we've ever had. Nice large and private property at the end of the trail.

Everything about our stay was awesome! Beautiful area and beautiful house. The house was immaculate when we arrived, and outside of the food and drink we brought, we really didn't need anything else. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The house was great, comfort and activities at every level. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and permitted to cook meals and even bake cookies easily.I wish we could have stayed in the Fall of 2024 as originally planned by hurricane Helene forced us to postpone to January 2025, when snow and cold made the stay more difficult, but still enjoyable. Owner was very understanding and accommodating.

The cabin was exactly as described and in the pictures. The location was wonderful! Upon arrival, we saw a black bear right outside our cabin window. We were able to watch it run up into the woods from the deck. Multiple times we saw deer. Our favorite time was when we saw a doe and her fawn right in our backyard. There is a beautiful stream just down from the fire pit. We loved to sit out there and listen to it as we enjoyed gathering around the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. Many times we sat on the deck and enjoyed all of nature’s beauty. The host was amazing, communication was outstanding where they were quick to respond to any concerns, and the cabin was immaculate! Thanks for a making our family vacation one to remember!

The house is amazing, photos don’t even do it justice. Tons of room host thought of everything that could have been forgotten. The deer in the yard were great. Very relaxing. Should probably have signs about the cameras but they don’t seem to be directly violating our privacy.

Overall this property was outstanding. The drive up and down Beech Mountain was a little more involved than I'd have liked with young children aboard. No ones fault there, just a heads up for anyone reading this who would also have very young children with them. The basement where we stayed with the kids was very damp and pretty dusty. There were 2 humidifiers available in the basement which were very helpful but they needed to be running the entire time. The listing said there was a working fire place but instead there was a LED fireplace which blew warm air. Not a big deal just needs to be updated on listing. Those were my only things of note on the property as the rest of our experience was fantastic. Cabin itself was beautiful and the backyard with the fire pit and creek running through was my favorite part. Lots of room for our 5 adults, two young children and two medium sized dogs to enjoy themselves. The hot tube was in great shape and very enjoyable. Communication with host was great at all times. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bear's Creek Lodge

What a great cabin and location! The cabin was beautiful and very clean and in an absolutely beautiful area. There were 9 of us aging from 15 to 73 and everyone loved it. One of the highlights of our trip was a doe that wandered onto the property. She even let us feed and pet her. The teenagers especially were beyond thrilled to be able to do that. It was an unexpected bonus to an already outstanding vacation! This area is a great ski area, but there is also a lot to do in the summer and I highly recommend it, and this cabin, to anyone!
