Atlantic Beach offers a peaceful family-friendly atmosphere but still offers plenty to do, such as a visit to Fort Macon, browsing local shops, dining out, movies, fishing, boating, or just hanging by the pool. There is also an aquarium less than 10 minutes away and there are charming neighboring towns like Morehead City and Beaufort that are great to walkabout, exploring the shops and trying out new restaurants. If you want a little adventure, there are boat tours and day trips to nearby islands where you can go shelling, see wild horses or just spend the day relaxing. brbrThe condo is located at Bogue Shores Condominiums. Bogue Shores is a small two-story building that sits on the Bogue Sound and is right across the street from the beach. There is a large pool and separately enclosed baby pool on the property, as well as grills, a gazebo, a fishing dock and boat launch ramp. There is also a pathway with a pedestrian crosswalk that takes you directly from the property across the street to the beach. brbrThe condo was just remodeled from top to bottom and is very clean. We take very good care of it and hope that you will too. The condo is one room, like a hotel room, with a bathroom and full kitchenette. There are two queen beds. Ideally 2-3 people would fit most comfortably, but 4 is the maximum. The bathroom is small and has a standup shower only. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, electric stovetop (no oven), microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is a large flat-screen TV with cable and wifi available for your use. With linens and towels being provided for you, and the condo being equipped with essentially everything you need, we make packing and planning very easy on you! Checking out is also a breeze! For the most part, all you have to do is pack up your stuff and head out! This condo is the second closest to the ocean. The main bedroom has an ocean view with a balcony off of the bedroom, and has recently been refurnished. The second bedroom has just gotten new furniture as well. The two bedrooms each has a high quality queen mattress, as well as a double futon in the second bedroom. There is wi-fi and cable television. The kitchen just been redone with new cabinets, a new counter and all new appliances. Beach chairs and umbrellas are supplied. The unit is very close to the pool. and it is just steps to the beach. There is a grill and lovely patio area.

Hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze while you relax by the pool. Our pool offers sun loungers, tables, and chairs. We do not have pool umbrellas as strong wind gusts have damaged them in the past. Shade is limited; although, later in the afternoon, you will receive shade cast from the sun shadow of the pool house building.br— The pool is typically open from mid-April through early October. As with all of the pools in the area, we are at the mercy of the town’s schedule as they inspect each and every pool for a safe opening. Because of this, we cannot guarantee the exact date of the pool opening each year as it is contingent on the town’s inspection schedule.brbrBICYCLESbr— The bicycle rack is located in the middle of our community between the pool and the nearest residential building. Some guests also choose to store their bicycles at/underneath the nearest stairs at their own building. In addition to surf fishing here at our private beach access, guests have success fishing from the shore at the inlet and at the rock jetty at Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach, the Oceanana Pier in Atlantic Beach, and the Bogue Inlet Pier in Emerald Isle. Note: The small pier within walking distance to Ocean Sands is a pedestrian pier, not a fishing pier.br— Ocean Sands offers guests a fish cleaning station at the far corner of the property in the dunes.
