Two kayaks and one canoe available for use as well. This location is convenient as restaurant Sticks and Stones is a 1/2 mile north in case you are in the mood for some wood fired pizza. The town of Schroon Lake is 2 miles north and has a grocery store, a pharmacy, a health center, a 1950's retro style movie theater as well as restaurants and shops. Enjoy the privacy of the 2-acre property and surrounding hiking trails right off of the property. brbrThe cabin was built in 2017 and has modern amenities, yet still has the cozy feeling of an authentic Adirondack log cabin. The large deck on the main level looks out over Schroon Lake and the view is amazing! Here you will find a table and chairs with an umbrella and a propane grill. The living area on the first floor boasts a vaulted ceiling with lots of natural light from the many windows. The living area opens up to the kitchen and dining area so everyone can stay connected and enjoy their time together. The lake views from this area are so beautiful! The first floor has two bedrooms - one with two twin beds and the other with one queen bed. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo on this level. Upstairs, you will find the loft area with a futon, a small TV with Roku for streaming & a DVD player - there are also board games, puzzles and DVDs. We are on 27 acres of land on the shores of Paradox Lake with a natural sand beach, tennis court, volleyball court, tetherball and horseshoe pitch. brbrVisiting during the summer Our lake is fabulous for swimming, kayaking, fishing and exploring. Looking for a winter getaway We are close to Gore, Whiteface and several Vermont Mountains. Our lake freezes over in the winter, and we have excellent ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Maybe you just want to cozy up in front of the stone fireplace and read or play board games. brbrThis house has 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with a king and one with 2 twin beds. Upstairs we have a loft with 1 double bed and 3 twins, or two can be converted into a king bed. The bathroom is located downstairs and has a stall shower and an antique clawfoot tub.
