It has been a summer destination since the 1930s and has been owned and operated by three generations of the Starfield Family since the mid-1950s. Spend a week or a month enjoying tennis, kayaking, hiking, playing pickleball or just relaxing by the lake or on your own screened-in porch. The property has 2 tennis courts (one with pickleball lines), hiking, boating, and a lakefront supervised by a Red Cross certified lifeguard. We had a great time. The cabin was wonderfully rustic and perfect for our weekend getaway! The property manager Richelle was very nice and communication was great. We will definitely be back!

This property was perfect for what we needed. It was comfortable and had all the amenities for a nice trip. It was centrally located and easy access to all the Adirondack region has to offer. Hosts were very welcoming.

We had a wonderful time at Terra Alta! The cottages are like time capsules, lovingly preserved and well-maintained, but on the rustic side (as advertised). The owners and other renters were all very friendly and welcoming. There's a small lake beach on the property (with a bigger one 3 minutes away in town), tennis courts, a playground, everything we needed, plus plenty of nature and peace. We'll be back!
