You can launch your motorized boat or jet ski at the Northville Public Boat Launch, which is 3 miles away. Or you can rent a boat from one of the local marinas. brbrDuring the summer months, if you enjoy horse racing, gambling and outdoor concert events, Saratoga is about 40 minutes from the village.brbrThe Hideaway is also a great place to stay during the winter months! With an outdoor spa, indoor wood stove and backup generator, you won’t have to worry about being stuck in the cold at The Hideaway. Enjoy a vast area for snowmobiling (our driveway has lots of space for a truck and trailer), cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. That being said, our road is private and gravel. Therefore it is privately maintained. Our contractor does the best he can but given our road is not public and we are in the Adirondack’s, do not expect it to be perfect. We do provide shovels and salt for the walkways should it snow during your stay and our contractor will plow/sand the driveway. But if you are not comfortable driving in snowy and potentially icy conditions, our home may not be the best option for you.
