The perfect ADK log cabin getaway on 4 acres and 5 min. to town!

The amenities in the home were great! Everything we needed for the perfect ski weekend.

We all loved this beautiful cabin! The weather was great. Our host was so helpful( we locked ourselves out!). Would love to return to this little piece of heaven in the Adirondacks….thank you Nicole!!!!!

Where to begin... The Perfect ADK Log Cabin was actually exactly that; Perfect! Completely stocked with all essentials and comforts throughout the cabin. Beds were amazingly comfortable and an abundance of pillows, wash cloths and hand/bath towels were provided.Drawers were filled with everything one needs and pots/pans/plates were not chipped or scratched so it was as if we were renting your home. Porches were lovely both in the morning and evening and the fire pit was an added bonus... but the best part, besides being so close to town, and the constant contact and availability of our host Nicole, was the State Park across the street where most days we had our own private beach with the cleanest and clearest water we have ever seen. College Girls' Week turned into the most relaxing, lovely, wonderful rejuvenation of forty-five years of friendship and love... We came from across the state and down in the city to laugh and reminisce and you enabled us to do so. Thank you for sharing your home with us... We will definitely see you again... (Hesitant to write this review as I'd rather keep this hidden gem to myself... :)

Spent a couple of days in this wonderful log cabin, and the only problem was our trip should have been longer! We were a family of 6 (all adults) and there was plenty of room. Very clean and tidy with all the amenities that we could need. Great location being a very short walk to the lake for morning swims. Very easy checkin and check out with a very responsive host. Highly recommended.

Cabin was amazing in everyway. Clean and comfortable. Great location close to Lake George and area. No issues at all. Was exactly what we were looking for to explore the area and enjoy the fall foliage. Note that the grill is charcoal not gas so we be prepared for that if you want to use grill. My fault, I was assuming it was gas so had to run to local store to get some charcoal. We loved this cabin!

A perfect get away for our family. The cabin was beautiful; spacious, clean, super comfy, and lots of amenities. The host was amazing to work with and could not have been more accommodating! This is the perfect place for a Schroon Lake or Gore Mountain vacation!!

This is a lovely log cabin with a plenty of room for a family. It features a huge master bedroom with a kingsize bed on the main floor and two rooms upstairs both with two double beds. There's even a basement with a playroom (e.g, table tennis) as well as laundry facilities. There are two full porches great for reading or meals plus a fire pit out back. The kitchen has everything you need. In other words, it is a great place to spend a lot of time, comfortably. It's also an excellent base from which to enjoy the lake. There are free lake beaches as well as a state park within walking distance and the town of Lake Schroon is about a 5 minute drive. The property manager is exceptionally responsive. She gave us all the information we needed for a great stay. Wonderful place.

Our stay at this Schroon Lake cabin was first-class in every way. It was so comfortable to live in, sleep in, play in, and just enjoy. Everything we needed was there. The bed mattress was gloriously comfortable and we slept so hard every night. All the amenities and utilities worked exactly like they were advertised with the exception of the hot tub, which we could never find, but we probably wouldn't have used it anyway. Our biggest issue is that the driveway isn't paved and the snowmelt made it very muddy. It could use new pavement, but with the local climate it is probably difficult to have a paved driveway stand up well over time. Also, the kitchen trashcan is supposed to open with a foot pedal but it appears to be broken. The cabin owner pointed us to a wonderful park within walking distance of the cabin called Scaroon Manor which we walked around for hours.
