The opening of the road depends on the snow pack from the winter and removal of the snow. Check online at the official Glacier website for road opening updates.brbrOnce the snow plows start plowing the road in Glacier, they open up the road to bike and walking traffic on week-ends. Typically this starts around May 1 through the beginning of June. Bike rentals are available at Glacier Outfitters in Apgar Village near the West entrance of Glacier.
