Wolf Crossing - Agate Cabin is a small 1 bedroom cabin in Silver Gate approximately 3000' from the Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone and approximately 3 miles from Cooke City on Highway 212 (National Park Road and the Beartooth Highway). A basic cabin with a wolf theme. It has a bath with a shower, a queen -size bed, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster oven and a coffee maker. There is small front porch. WE HAVE JUST ADDED SATELLITE TELEVISION WITH 150 CHANNELS AS WELL AS WIRELESS INTERNET FOR YOUR LAPTOP - via Star Link! No reviews yet but we have 2 adjacent places with excellent reviews. Also, a host is on site for information or to hire for hiking/fishing/hunting help - or to cater your dinner.brbrThere is a general store in town within walking distance as well as the Log Cabin Restaurant and the Stop the Car Store and the Silver Gate General Store. A mountaineering store is also within walking distance. Soda Butte Creek is located across the road approximately 600' away. In addition to Yellowstone National Park, we are surrounded by the Absaroka Wilderness as well as the Gallatin National Forest. Great hunting, fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking and wildlife viewing abounds. This small cabin makes a quiet and unique base-camp for a world of outdoor activities. Please note that it is an old hand built cabin. We have pine martens and foxes around constantly eating mice. I blame their laxness if any mice should appear.

Tall pine trees ensure privacy between the two cabins. The property is located on the south side of Soda Butte Creek, so you'll be away from the highway traffic that runs through town.brbrThis cabin comfortably sleeps 4 (1 queen bed, 2 full beds), with an added raised air mattress available for a fifth guest. Please note that a fifth guest will invoke the $30/night extra persons fee.brbrUrsa is found in the small town of Silver Gate, Montana, 1 mile outside of Yellowstone National Park’s northeast entrance and 3 miles down the road from Cooke City. This cabin sleeps up to 4 people on a queen bed (in the master bedroom) and 2 full beds (in the loft), all with memory foam mattresses. It's a great option for smaller groups and families, while larger groups may want to consider the Sarva cabin.brbrBecause the property is south of the highway, snowmobilers have quick access to the Bannock Trail and can ride directly from the property to the backcountry sledding areas beyond. Spare but delightful, the cabin provides all the necessary amenities - starlink WiFi, a full size bed and a futon, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette with stove, fridge and coffee maker.brbrThe spacebrThis cabin is located in a relatively secluded area just a stone's throw away from the highway. This cabin listing is for the Hemingway cabin further inland from the highway. In this cabin, there is one lofted bedroom (no door) with a full bed in the upstairs, along with a desk. There is also a futon downstairs. There is a bathroom with shower stall and a small kitchen with all the dishes and utensils you need to make meals. There is a second cabin on the property, so please be prepared to have neighbors. The Walden cabin has a kitchen, bathroom and lofted bedroom (with full bed), and is directly in front of this cabin. If you have a small group, you can rent one of the cabins individually for the listed price or for larger groups, book both cabins by messaging us directly (dependent on availability). The cabins conform to the tiny house movement, but are fully equipped and very comfortable. We recommend no more than 2 guests for the lower cabin and 3 guests for the upper cabin. MAX occupancy is no more than 6 persons using both cabins. Please report actual guest numbers including children. Additionally, the stairs up to the lofted bedrooms are quite steep, but there are handles. Wolves, bear, moose and elk abound in the Silver Gate/Cooke City part of Yellowstone and the Beartooth Mountains. There are beautiful mountain views from the back deck, and front windows. Some of the best native trout fishing in the world is minutes from the house. These include the Yellowstone River, Lamar River, Slough Creek, Soda Butte Creek, and the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone. This is a summer rental only!brA great family day can be spent touring the famous features of Yellowstone or taking a day trip to Cody, WY to see the Wild Bill Cody Museum, a genuine rodeo nightly, a mock gun fight at the original Irma Hotel, good food, and many shops including the Sierra Outlet. Cooke City is 3 miles away for shopping, restaurants, ATV rentals and much more. But Silver Gate has quite a few sweet places too. The best time for animal watching is June and early July, while the best time for fishing is mid July through September. Hiking is fabulous anytime. brbrThe house is clean, spacious and comfortable, with a large Great Room and fireplace, leather furniture, big kitchen with new black range top cooking surface and full size laundry with half bath on first floor. Second floor has two very large bedrooms with new carpet: One has two double beds and one single bed and the other has a queen bed and a single. This arrangement will sleep a family of six or 5 singles. Also, a nice full bathroom upstairs. brbrOutside there is a rear deck with gorgeous mountain views so close you feel like you can reach out and touch them. There is a grill and patio furniture for outdoor dining. There is also a very small stream in the yard which holds a few small native Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout. Grey Wolf Cabin is located on 1.3 wooded acres, and backs onto the Absaroka Wilderness. Its location is 1/2 mile off the main road leading to Yellowstone, so views in all directions are of pine trees and mountains. The cabin's main floor has a full kitchen, dining room table that seats up to eight guests, and a large comfortable living room with TV, DVD, stereo system, and gas stove. The master bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom are also on the main floor, along with a second guest bathroom and utility room with washer and dryer. The large loft has two queen beds, a reading nook with a couch and game table. Additionally, the loft opens onto a private balcony with beautiful views of forest. What makes this cabin special is the large deck on the south side of the cabin for guests to enjoy.
