Beautiful property and amazing stay! We stayed at this cabin in mid-September. The cabin is very well kept with good amenities. The property and scenery are breathtaking, and the pictures can not do it justice. The property owners were very kind and professional. They made check-in very easy. This cabin is located in the very small town of Silver Gate. We actually found the town to be one of the biggest highlights of our trip. There is a wonderful breakfast cafe, a couple small general stores including an ice cream parlor, a lodge with a quaint restaurant and bar, and a couple foods trucks... and that's about it. Everything was very clean and good quality. Every person we met was friendly. This cabin is also less than 1 mile from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone. Perfect location if you plan on visiting the park.

Completely enjoyed our stay at this scenic rustic Montana cabin!! The caretakers of the home met us and answered any questions we had and were helpful during our whole visit. We spend most of our time sitting on the back deck enjoying the beautiful scenery and the sound of the babbling stream. Home was clean and nicely equipped. We would definitely stay again if we return to Silver gate!

Our stay at this vacation house in Montana was absolutely unforgettable. Located just a short drive from Yellowstone, the house was in the perfect spot — close enough to a charming town with a cozy cafe serving delicious breakfasts and quaint little shops, yet wonderfully secluded, situated right on a peaceful stream that made us feel completely immersed in nature. The house itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It had that perfect mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. We loved waking up to the soothing sounds of the stream and starting our mornings with coffee on the deck, surrounded by stunning mountain views. The location couldn’t have been better. After exploring Yellowstone during the day, it was so nice to return to this serene retreat. We enjoyed stargazing in the clear Montana sky, and the wildlife spotting right from the property made our experience even more magical. The thoughtful touches in the home — like the fully stocked kitchen, luxurious bedding, and a welcome basket — made us feel right at home. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this place truly has it all. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the best of Montana and Yellowstone in one perfect getaway!

From the communication prior to our arrival to the immaculate cleanliness and furniture and warm quick tutoring of the home, to the incredible views and located right on the river, where we roasted wieners our first night. The patio a few steps from the river and sun room that allowed One to feel they were truly in the back country, Not to mention the fireplace and propane wood stove I could not be more grateful to have stayed in such an amazing home. We will be back to enjoy this piece of heaven. Too old to camp in tents, but felt the great outdoors even while indoors here! Thank you for the exquisite hospitality and experience!

This cabin has amazing views of amphitheater and the Wyoming mountains, an awesome view of the soda butte creek and its wildlife (moose, bison, and birds) that runs right through the backyard, and is in the perfect location to the NE entrance of Yellowstone. Great home base to hit Yellowstone attractions (Lamar valley, Roosevelt area, Canyon village area, Yellowstone Lake area). Our family of 8 stayed for 5 nights and created unforgettable memories. Huge sunroom to gather the whole family for meals and games, fully stocked kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and organized with linens and privacy for all guests. The yard is huge with its own creek entrance and fire pit area, a place to picnic, and a sauna and soaker tub. A walk away from cafe, ice cream, and local shops. Caretakers on site were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. At night you can see all the stars right from the yard.

My family of six stayed at this VRBO for 5 nights while visiting Yellowstone, our family's goals were hiking, fishing, and relaxing. Based on the pictures we thought this location would be perfect... the pictures do not do this place justice! From the moment you walk in the cabin and see the mountains through the 4 seasons room you want to stay forever! With the Lamar Valley minutes away there was good fishing and hiking. We took a day to go to the west side of Yellowstone as well. Comfortable beds, a good assortment of kitchen accessories, nice towels and blankets, everything was clean and comfortable. The layout of the cabin is perfect for families. My son preferred sleeping in the four seasons room where he could wake up with the sunrise and watch for wildlife across the river. In the evenings we grilled outside, enjoyed the sound of the river running by, relaxed in the sauna, played pool and cards at the large table. The weather dipped below freezing a few nights so we made a fire inside the cabin with the materials provided and loved the ambiance. The hosts were very informative and helpful if you need anything. Silvergate is lovely, walk over to the Log Cabin Cafe for breakfast or the Royal Wullf Tavern for a snack after hiking. Both places had great food. My only suggestion, make sure to take a photo or print the check-in directions before you lose cell service, we got lucky and found the cabin and hosts on our own so this was not a concern. We will go back!!
