Peaceful Escape: Yellowstone River & Mountains

Livingston, Montana, United States

Revel in the tranquility and spaciousness of this serene 1350 sq ft home, perfectly nestled amidst the breathtaking grandeur of nearby mountains peaking between 10,000 and 11,000 feet. Pamper your senses with 360-degree panoramic views, from the Yellowstone River`s steamy meanderings visible from the expansive 1,000 sq ft deck, to the majesty of the Absaroka Beartooth Mountains so close you`ll feel you could almost reach out and touch them.brbrDine in style at the outdoor table, with comfortable seating for eight, perfectly complemented with brand new Adirondack chairs, table, and a warming gas firepit - your ideal corner for essential relaxation moments. As autumn sweeps in, the inviting river rock fireplace with a Heat and Glo insert will add a touch of warmth and comfort, making it cozy to snuggle on the couch while watching the snowflakes gently fall.brbrExperience a rejuvenating night`s sleep in complete tranquility, in a generously spaced master bedroom furnished with an adjacent bathroom equipped with a convenient shower and bathtub combination including a massage attachment.brbrThis home radiates a sense of charm and brightness, echoing the mountain-themed ambiance our grandmother loved in her home near Cascades, Washington. The sizeable, state-of-the-art kitchen is well-equipped with new appliances to cater to all your culinary needs.brbrPerfectly positioned on a hillside overlooking a lower pasture, the property offers a long driveway and minimum 20-acre parcels of land, promising an atmosphere of seclusion and privacy. During the winter months, you will enjoy a discounted rental rate while our caretaker occupies the lower level of the house, although your delightful first-floor accommodation and privacy will remain uninterrupted.brbrYour stay is guaranteed to be comfortable and peaceful. My brother Steve, the caretaker, will be available on-site unless traveling. Additionally, my husband, my mother, and I live in the adjacent house to assist when required while respecting your privacy.brbrIdeally located, our home is only 35 miles away from Gardiner - the northern entrance to Yellowstone Park, and just 22 miles from Livingston, with an abundance of fishing spots within a 20-minute radius. You can enjoy a variety of restaurants and musical venues within 15 minutes from the comfort of your home.brbrTo fully explore the beauty of Yellowstone, the hot springs, and access local amenities, it is recommendable to have a vehicle. There are, however, shuttles available to the airport and bus services connecting Livingston and Bozeman. Enjoy the unique Montana experience - immense, raw, and exquisitely beautiful.brSmoking is allowed outside on the decks with the doors to home closed. A dog may be allowed with prior approval of owner. brNo fires in firepit when there is wind. Evidence of a forest fire can be seen in Pine Creek where several homes and outbuildings, farm animals and lots of timber were lost in 2012. brLeave home generally tidy, wipe up grease, do dishes.brPlease do not wash pots and pans and sharp knives in the dishwasher. It affects their longevity and non-stick nature.brIt is helpful to shut blinds on the south sides to keep temperatures down so AC does not have to work so hard. brThe hot tub is non-functional at this time.

7th Street Bungalow · Cozy And Updated Bungalow

Livingston, Montana, United States

The 7th Street Bungalow is located in the historical heart of Livingston, Montana's most desired neighborhood. This updated, historical bungalow houses a crowd and allows for a group to relax and tour Livingston and the Yellowstone National Park area in style and comfort - a true home away from home. brbr3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds, 1 with a full size bed) on the main level, 2 have adjoining full bathrooms. Upstairs the private loft / room area has 3 twin beds and a full bathroom.brbrYour family or group of friends can cook in the roomy, fully stocked kitchen with updated appliances. The living area and dining room are open and comfortable for relaxing after a day on the trails or rivers. brbrThe backyard is partially fenced and the wrap around deck allows for conversations and cocktails on our beautiful, cool Montana evenings. Propane BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking, along with a picnic table in the green, private backyard. brbrThe house is 1 block from Livingston's iconic Marks In and Out walk up only burger and shake stand, dating back to 1954. brbrA short 5 block walk lands you in the heart of downtown where you will find world renowned art galleries, restaurants, darling local shops, a movie theater, breweries and more. Heading straight east from the house you are on the banks of the Yellowstone River in Livingston's beautiful city park - always lively with people walking, playing games, enjoying the weekly farmers market, or just watching a sunset along the river. brbrWe welcome your fur-friends, with prior approval and a $200 pet fee. brbrFor your convenience there is a keypad on the front door. The entire property is yours. You have great privacy on the wrap around porch and quaint front and back yards.brbrThe gals at Key Montana Property Management live in town, and are a text or phone call away should you need anything. Otherwise, check yourselves in and have a great time!brbrOf course, what has helped really put Livingston on the map is its proximity to Yellowstone National Park. Livingston isn’t a true “gateway” to Yellowstone since it isn’t located right along the park border, yet the town receives thousands of people a day who are Yellowstone bound due to its location along Interstate 90 and US Highway 89 (US 89 leads to Gardiner).brbrUnlike so many small towns across America today, the downtown area of Livingston is full of stores with few empty storefronts. The numerous red brick buildings in the downtown area have been well maintained and restored. The downtown area is also very clean, the only thing a visitor is likely to see on the sidewalk is a painted trout.brDowntown is bustling with galleries, local shops, hardware stores, high end vintage thrift and antique shops, hip bars and eateries (this includes French bistros, sushi, steak joints and even vegan options!) brMost nights you can find live music at a local bar where locals gather, chat, talk about their fishing day, ranch day or simply what's going on with their kids at school. brOne of the more friendly and down to earth towns in southwest Montana. Livingston is a place where everyone still knows your name and there's always a seat and a cold drink ready for you.brbrWe always recommend you have a car for getting out of town to see Yellowstone and the surrounding mountains and trails, but when you are in town - you can easily and safely walk anywhere from the house!
