Welcome to a cozy cabin with a beautiful lake view and just a few minutes walk to the shore of Houghton Lake. This cabin is the perfect place to enjoy time with your family. The kids will love the outdoor space complete with grill and firepit. Enjoy the firepit as you plan your day trip to nearby areas including walking to Houghton Lake, or a quick drive to Higgins Lake and the AuSable River. There are wonderful hiking trails and beautiful parks and beaches in the area as well as over 200 miles of ORV trails. brbrAbout the Cabin: Located off the main drag, this cabin is across the street from road end access to the lake. This gives you great views and a quick walk to enter and exit the lake at the public access road end. This 3-bedroom 2-bath cabin makes an ideal stay when you head up north to enjoy nature both on and off the area lakes and rivers. Bring your boat, kayak, snowmobiles, jet skis or ORVs to explore the area and have great adventures. There is room to park at least one trailer along with two other vehicles. When the sun sets, rewind back at the cabin with a bonfire that overlooks the lake or watch the SmartTVs/Rokus with your personal log ins. brbrThe dining area has six chairs with a bench to accommodate at least two more. The table does extend. With a hunting cabin vibe, comfortable beds and A/C. A great fire pit includes the wood to use. Free wi-fi. This retreat is just 500 ft to two boat launches or ice fishing. It is also 20 minutes to the Nightmare, Dream, Quest, and Forest Dunes golf courses. There are several beaches located around the lake to swim at. The home is located on an acre of land with 100’s of acres of wooded state land attached. There are some trails out the door and more 3 miles away. Great place for all seasons. Several parks and beaches.
