There is also ample parking in the driveway for additional vehicles should you need more space.brbrFUN STUFF TO DO OF COURSE--IT'S HOLLAND!brbrThe things we love the most about this home, besides the house itself, are the local accommodations. We have two full wooded acres and a stream in the far back of the property. Lots of wildlife, especially turkey, squirrels, deer, and woodpeckers, make our two acres their home. Walk up the street for a few hundred feet and you will find Sanctuary woods, a nature preserve with trails and bridges. In addition, there is a bike path directly in front of our home. You will see joggers and bikers and people walking their dogs most of the day. The bike trail network in the Holland area is extensive and runs for many many miles in all directions. Bike rentals are available locally, and the marina is just a one minute drive north. There you can rent slips for even very large boats that you can take directly onto Lake Macatawa, or even Lake Michigan, which is just a stone's throw away from the shipyard. A boat rental company is adjacent to the shipyard. There you can rent boats (of all types), paddle boards, kayaks and more. Lake Michigan has limited public access sites, so we are fortunate to be a mere 6 minutes from Laketown Beach. A little drive will get you to larger parks--Saugatuck Dunes, Oval Beach, or Holland State Park. You can get to beautiful downtown 8th street Holland in less than 14 minutes and quaint downtown Saugatuck also in 14 minutes. Both places have fantastic restaurants and shopping. The living room features a 20-foot ceiling and windows and deck overlooking the the creek. The 6 bedrooms--two with king beds, one with a full bed + a twin bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, one with bunk beds, and a TV room with bunk beds--provide sleeping for up to 12 plus a baby/toddler (toddler bed is in Master). The home offers 4 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, hardwood floors and beautiful decor. Lots of windows ensure cool breezes and natural light.br brThe main floor features a large eat-in kitchen with floor to ceiling window allowing natural sunlight to spill into the house. The kitchen includes new appliances and every amenity a chef could need. A large dining area with seating up to 8 people opens up into a great room. Two bedrooms including the master suite are located on the main floor. The master suite includes a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with a new queen bed and furnishings. The second bedroom offers two twin beds. The main floor includes a powder room and laundry room. On the lower lever there are two bedrooms with new queen beds; lots of windows provide lots of natural light and a family room perfect for movies and relaxation. These bedrooms share a full bathroom and have access to walk out patio. Birch St Cottage is newly renovated with brand new furniture and bedding throughout. Enjoy all Holland has to offer in this amazing 4 bedroom 2 full bathroom home. There are Three bedrooms on the mail level which accommodate up to 7 people, and one bedroom on the lower level which sleeps 2 more. There is one full bathroom up and one full bathroom down as well. There are two living areas with large TVs. The garage is stocked with a large ping-pong table, corn hole, and bicycles and kayaks to rent as well. There is a large patio out back with a built in firepit to enjoy! There are anderondak chairs for all. brbrThe main level also has a deck built on the lake side of the house. You can see bits of the lake glistening through the trees from the deck. The deck has a picnic table for dining, and a bar area for entertaining. brbrBirch St Cottage is only a mile away from Holland State Park, and even closer to Mt Pisgah, Captain Sundae, Mini Golf, Ice Cream, and more!
