Cabin #10 - Snow Day
Cadillac, Michigan, United States
"Snow Day" is a warm, cozy, vintage rustic cabin reminiscent of simpler times and tastefully furnished with a Vintage Winter Sports theme. This is one of our two Pet Friendly Cabins.brbrOur cabins are a cross between a rustic sporting cabin from the "road-side motel era" and a simple vintage boutique get-away. Our family-owned camp aims to provide the best elements of country lodging with updates while still maintaining that rustic cabin charm.brbrThe "Snow Day", is a one room cabin that sleeps two on a full-size futon. The vintage table/desk is perfect for writing, playing a leisurely game of solitaire or relaxing with a cup of coffee while enjoying a view of the Cadillac countryside. The mini kitchen comes complete with a bar-size sink, microwave, counter high refrigerator, hot-pot and vintage electric percolator. Also included is Wi-fi, Roku Smart TV with Netflix, a vintage game or two, perhaps some reading material, a deck of cards and a cribbage board.brbrThe weather-beaten walls of our 70-year-old cabins are crammed with memories that induce an atmosphere of northern Michigan nostalgia. Come, relax and trade the pressures of the fast modern world for a few nights of simple, up-north hospitality.brbrOur family hopes you enjoy our cabins as much as we have enjoyed getting them ready for you!brbrMackinaw Timbers Cabins welcomes pets in Cabin #5 & #10 with at least 3 five star host reviews or with 4 or 5 paw score from PetScreening com a third party service at mackinawtimbers petscreening combrbrMAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: 2brbrAmenitiesbrbrDetailsbrbr* Open year aroundbr* Self-check-in with keypad anytime after 3PM - check your email about 2pmbr* Check-out by 12 NoonbrbrComfortbrbr* A/C & Heatbr* Wall Mount Oscillating FanbrbrSitebrbr* Smoke Free Sitebr* Rural yet close to US-131 expressway, M-115 and Cadillac West & Downtown, Lakes & Caberfaebr* Lighted sitebr* Private entrancebr* Large yardbr* Off street parking with room for snowmobiles, ORV's and boats (email or call to reserve a space at no extra charge)br* Charcoal Grills - BYO Charcoal, Lighter fluid, lighter & Utensils (Charcoal kit available for small fee)br* Community Horseshoe Pitbr* Croquet and other Vintage Yard Gamesbr* Community Fire Pitbr* Firewood available for an additional small chargebrbrFeaturesbrbr* Desk/Workspace areabr* Original logs on interior walls with bead-board ceilingsbr* Smart Roku TV with Netflix included plus the ability to log into your Hulu, Amazon and other accounts.br* Wi-Fi - Please note it can take several seconds to buffer Netflix etc but otherwise works well.brbrMini Kitchen Detailsbrbr* Small counter area with small sinkbr* Microwavebr* Counter High Frig with small freezerbr* Vintage Percolator Coffee Maker with Coffee Pods for a pot or twobr* Hot Pot with 2-3 Tea Bags & 2-4 pour-over-coffeebrbrSmall Private Bathroom Detailsbrbr* Galvanized shower with concrete floorbr* Wall hung sinkbr* Water closetbr* Lots of hooks for hanging towels and clothesbr* Mini tank water heater- as such, water conservation and short (5-7 min) showers are a must.brbrItems ProvidedbrbrLinens providedbrbr* Bedding: Sheets for bed, Comforter and/or Blanket, 3 Pillows per full bed;br* Towels: 2 Bath Towels, 2 Hand Towels and 2 Wash clothsbr* Paper Products; 1 Toilet paper + 1 Extra, 1 roll of paper towel and 1 box of tissuebrbrSafetybrbr* Smoke detectorbr* Fire ExtinguisherbrbrClose Bybrbr* National Forest within a mile of the cabins.br* Access to White Pine Trail without crossing US 131 or M 115 with snowmobile from cabins to trailbr* Maps of trails and local activities provided in cabin and guide bookbr* Out of town - In the country but close to everythingbrbrUpfront & Honestbrbr* Cabins are small, cozy and a bit crowdedbr* Old, restored windows and doors can be drafty, especially the floors which result in uneven heat.br* We're in a rural area and the Internet isn't perfect but is very reliable, it may just need an extra few seconds to load Netflix.br* Located on a busy street and near an excavating company so can be noisy at timesbr* Water heater is small so short showers are a mustbr* We are in the country next to fields and an excavating company, so there may be dust and a cobweb or two, our site people check daily but one strong gust of wind or Charlotte (the spider) may decide to spin a web...brbrOutside: Large grassy areas in the back and center of the property, picnic area with tables and charcoal grills located at each cabin.
