If you want to bring your own vehicle to the island, you have to make a reservation in advance with the Beaver Island Boat Company. They start taking reservations in February and they book up fast for the peak months of July and August. You will need your vehicle or a rental vehicle to get to Hemlock Haven. Otherwise, contact the transit services in advance for the number of riders and times.brbrHemlock Haven is a Saturday to Saturday rental (7 nights) minimum during peak season (mid June through Labor Day weekend). Check-in is at 4pm on Saturday and check-out is the following Saturday at 10am. Outside of the peak season, there is a 3 night minimum stay. There is a guest house on the property (you will park in front of the guest house). At times, we may be occupying the guest house...quietly and out of sight.
