Thank you so much!brbrHow to book: br1. Send an inquiry with # adults and the ages of children. br2. The agent will confirm your dates with the owner and respond on the VRBO platform. At this time, you may send a Booking Request and review the Rental Agreement.br3. Lastly, the agent will call you, within 24 hours of accepting the reservation, to discuss the house, confirm the booking, and answer any questions.br4. The booking is now confirmed. brbrbrPlease note: For the 2026 season, there will be an ongoing construction project on the grounds that is anticipated not to have significant impact on tenants due to its distance from the house. However, there will be a small section of our driveway that will be shared between construction vehicles and tenant vehicles, but only as they enter and exit. All parking areas will remain separate. The 2026 rates reflect this potential inconvenience.brbrREDWOODbrbrStep back into the true Golden Era of Bar Harbor in this beautifully situated, historic estate that will serve as the perfect backdrop to your gathering. Whether hosting a crowd of twelve or a smaller group, you will soon discover why Redwood is the perfect spot for your summer stay. Walk into Bar Harbor's vibrant village, or escape the crowds from the privacy and comfort of your waterfront lawn. Discover Acadia's trails and major entrances just around the corner, or explore the accessible shorefront right at your feet. Bar Harbor's popular Shore Path, a public walking path, is just a few steps to the north, but don't worry - the public pathway doesn't cross this property, so your privacy is protected! brbrFIRST FLOOR: Enter the large front hall with beautifully restored original wood floors and architectural details throughout. To the right, a spacious living room offers seating for conversation or watching a movie on the flat-screen Internet TV. Escape to one corner for puzzles or cards on a rainy day. Step through the French doors to the screened sun porch, which offers a wonderfully casual space for hanging out. Doors from the sunporch lead to the waterside yard. Steps up from the sun porch lead to an elevated, sun-drenched Sitting Area with magnificent views out to Bar Harbor's entrance and breakwater with Bald Porcupine Island beyond. Step down from the Sitting Area back to the front hall, where to the right of the front door is a small Study (not pictured) and Half Bath (not pictured). A formal Dining Room easily seats 12 around a fully expanded dining room table and also features water views. Just beyond is functional, but - sorry - slightly dated Kitchen with a table that seats six. Just beyond the Kitchen is one of our favorite Mud Rooms ever, perfect for storing hiking boots, jackets, and sporting gear. Laundry facilities, a second refrigerator, a wine refrigerator, and Full Bath with a shower stall can also be found here, as well as a back staircase to the second floor. brbrSECOND FLOOR: From the front hall, stairs lead to the second floor. At the southern end of the house, the Primary Bedroom includes a King Bed and a sweet work area overlooking the water. Bedroom 2 features a unique stained glass architectural window, a Double Bed, and water views. Bedroom 3 offers Twin Beds and a semi-private Full Bath with a combined tub and shower, also accessible by the hall and shared with the Primary Bedroom and Bedroom 2. Just a bit further down the hall is Bedroom 4 with Queen Bed and water views. Bedroom 5 features a Double Bed, and two short steps down from the central hallway is Bedroom 6 with Twin Beds. These last three bedrooms share a Full Bath with combined tub and shower (not pictured, but consistent with the bath that is pictured here). A back staircase leads to the Kitchen area. Note that there is a stunning period full bath with metal tub and high tank pull toilet, but, alas, there is no water to this facility. What to do with such a historic treasure We're not sure, except that it deserves our appreciation! But please don't try to use the commode. It would lead to disastrous results. brbrOUTDOOR SPACES: Sweeping lawns, delightfully sylvan wooded spaces, private low tide rocky beach, and enough space for lots of play, relaxation, and hanging out around the fire pit. A little whiffle ball game, corn hole, outdoor meals, watching the boating traffic coming and going, star gazing, or s'mores over the fire are all possible from these spacious grounds. brbrEXTRAS: EV charger for Tesla vehicles available for Tenant use.brbrPLEASE NOTE: Advertised rental rates include 6 guests ONLY. Each additional guest above 6 (Up to a maximum occupancy of 12) will be charged $300 per person.brbrFireplaces are not operable in this home and are for decorative purposes only.

New Modern Home-Mountain views, hot tub. Walk to town, trails, and golf course.brbrKebo Ridge House is uniquely situated in Bar Harbor’s newest private subdivision. Large windows offer expansive views of Cadillac Mountain, and bring the outdoors in.brbrKebo Ridge House is located on the edge of town with a 10 minute walk to all downtown amenities. It is also situated alongside the golf course. On the ridge is one of the closest homes in Bar Harbor to Acadia. Trailheads to Cadillac and Dorr Mountains, the iconic Jesup Path Boardwalk, and the Park Loop Road are a short 5 minute walk. There are very few homes on the island that afford this direct access to both town and the park.brbrKebo Ridge House is incredibly peaceful and private. As you enjoy the large 2 acre property, it’s easy to forget that the hustle and bustle of town is so close, just a short trip down the hill. *There is a small path on the side of the property that provides a walking shortcut to town. brbrThe space:brbrOur home was inspired by modern Scandinavian and Nordic architecture and our travels to this region. The design focus was to bring the outdoors in. We kept the living spaces uncluttered, and bright. The house looks outward, and keeps those enjoying the house together in airy living spaces, or brings them outside to enjoy the modern patio and outdoor living features. brbrUpstairs main living area: brbrThe upstairs main living area of the house features an open concept living space, with large windows that look over Cadillac and Dorr Mountain. The space is light, bright, modern and clean which highlights the beautiful view like a dynamic landscape photo.brbrThere is a large couch and two chairs in the living room, and a dining table that seats six. Adjacent to the main living room, there is an office nook featuring a loveseat and stand up work space. brbrThe modern kitchen is clean and efficient. It is outfitted with new quality appliances, including a Thermador fridge and Miele speed oven. brbrThere are two bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom features double sliding doors that open up to the kitchen area, making it a great flex space for reading, studying, or playing. This bedroom features a pop up twin trundle that converts to full bed. The second bedroom features double closets and a king bed.brbrThe main living space and both upstairs bedrooms share the main bathroom, which also includes a washer and dryer.brbrLower level living space:brbrOne enters the home on the lower level, and travels upstairs to the main living spaces. For this reason, the house may not be the best fit for people who have trouble climbing stairs or young children. brbrThe entrance opens to a mud room perfect for shoes, coats, and gear. In keeping with Scandinavian traditions, we ask that you do you best to remove shoes before heading upstairs. brbrThere is one bedroom on this level. The bedroom is a larger suite sized bedroom with screen doors that open up to the outdoor patio. It features a queen size bed and a trundle bed that cant be used as a sitting couch or two twin beds.
