Hot Tub with Amazing Views- 7min to town/resort

Crested Butte, Colorado, United States

Does this deck make my Butte look big Yes! Relax in this beautifully situated mountain retreat after enjoying all your alpine activities. Built into the slope of the mountain, the living space and deck are on the second floor, elevated high off the green belt, giving unobstructed views of the Butte and surrounding hills, bursting with an ever changing symphony of color throughout the seasons. All this while the town and slopes are just 8 minutes away along a gorgeous drive in the foothills.brbrThe Space:brWhen you first walk in the front door of our beautiful home, you will be drawn like a magnet straight out the back door to the huge deck, which towers 3 stories above the hill below and offers one of the best views of the Butte in the area. The summer brings a progressive kaleidoscope of wildflowers to the slope surrounding the house. In the fall, the aspens lining the walls of the valley glow a brilliant gold. Sunsets are especially amazing, as the light slowdances over the Butte and sky. While you’re loving the view, you’ll take a moment to appreciate how quiet is is up here, and what a special retreat from your busy life this really is. Spend as much time out there as you like but eventually come back inside to see how awesome the rest of the house is.brbrThe living space is a wide-open floor plan with vaulted cedar ceilings for big gatherings of family and friends. The very well-equipped kitchen with subzero fridge and high-end appliances will help you create delicious meals with your crew. Gather around the rustic dining table or take your food and a glass of wine back outside to the iron outdoor dining set. Comfortable leather seating around a large, beautiful stone hearth and wood-burning fireplace will keep you toasty on cold nights. Touches of luxury mountain decor make the space magical, and all of it is graced with floor to ceiling windows to bring the same breathtaking view inside.brbrThe large master Wildflower Suite is on the same floor and has its own access to the deck. In the morning, let the sun slowly fill the room as it grazes over the butte, or draw the shades and sleep late in the comfortable pillow-top king size bed. After a long day skiing, fishing, biking or hiking, you’ll love to relax alone or with your partner in the huge jacuzzi tub or steam shower.brbrDownstairs, you’ll find three more themed bedrooms. The River Room has a large rustic king size bed and corner seating area with views to the surrounding slopes of flowers and blue spruce trees.brbrThe large Moose Room is designed for families or kids, with one log queen and two twin log beds, and a peaceful and secluded view to the back porch and aspen trees.brbrFinally, the Bear Room is decorated with kids in mind, and has two low twin beds.brbrThese rooms share a large downstairs bathroom. There is also a full laundry room and another living space/media room, with access to another secluded lower back deck hidden by whispering aspens.brbrMeridian Lake Park is, in our opinion, the prime location in Crested Butte, being the perfect balance of a quiet retreat and unparalleled view of mountain living, all with the ski resort and downtown less than 8 minutes away along a gorgeous curvy drive through the foothills.brbrAs amazing as the house and view is, you come to CB to get outside for peace and adventure. The Meridian reservoir can be seen from the house and it stocked with fish, if you’re into that. Or take a short hike up the hill past the reservoir to the natural alpine Long Lake for swimming in the summer.brbrPlease note only 4 vehicles are allowed on driveway per HOA regulations. No trailers, campers, or ATVs/UTVs allowed on driveway. brbrWe do recommend a 4-wheel drive in winter months. The city does plow the streets, but if a lot of snow falls very quickly, it can temporarily limit access to and from the house.

Mid-stay turnover available with 24 hours' notice.brbrbrbrGrand Lodge Amenities: Pool, hot tub, gym, and steam room are operated by a separate building management company. Rare temporary closures for maintenance do happen — we'll communicate any that we're aware of in advance.brbrbrbrAltitude: 9,375 ft. First-time high-altitude visitors may feel mild fatigue or headaches for 24–48 hours. Water, sunscreen, and an easy first day help most guests acclimate within hours.brbrbrbrWhat To Pack:brbr- Winter (Nov–April): Winter coat, ski gear (or rent locally), hand warmers, sunscreen (UV strong at altitude).brbr- Summer (June–August): Rain jacket, layers, sturdy hiking boots, sunscreen, sunglasses.brbr- Spring & Fall: Unpredictable weather — pack layers and a waterproof jacket.brbrbrbrCheck-in: 4:00 PM | Checkout: 10:00 AM | Max guests: 4brbrbrbrHouse Rules: Quiet hours 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. No parties or unregistered overnight guests. Smoking outdoors only. Report any damage immediately — honest communication always works out.brbrbrbrListed with @BookTraverse.brbrbrbrInteraction with Guests:brbrWe run a small, hands-on operation — your stay matters to us, and we're quick to respond when you need us.brbrbrbrBefore Arrival: You'll receive the Guesty digital guidebook 24 hours before check-in. It includes your access code, 4th-floor directions, parking information, ski storage details, shuttle schedule, restaurant recommendations, and local tips. Read it through before you arrive so the first hour is smooth.brbrbrbrDuring Your Stay: Questions about the unit, building amenities, the shuttle, or local recommendations Email or call (we're on Mountain Time, typically 8:00 AM–6:00 PM weekdays, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM weekends). For urgent issues — no heat, plumbing problems, lockouts — call immediately. Front desk staff in the Grand Lodge lobby can also help with building-specific questions.brbrbrbrCheckout: Light cleanup requested (dishes in the dishwasher, trash in the bins, towels in the tub). Housekeeping can handle deeper cleaning at a separate fee if you prefer — let us know 24 hours in advance.brbrbrbrGround Rules: Respect quiet hours (10:00 PM–8:00 AM). No parties or events beyond your registered party size. No unregistered guests overnight. Smoking outdoors only — never in the unit or hallways.brbrbrbrFeedback: After your stay, we'd love a review. We read every one and use them to improve. If something needs attention mid-stay, tell us right away — we'd rather fix it in real time than learn about it in the review.brbrbrbrListed with @BookTraverse.
