Also on the deck is a 'little people' table that can seat 4-6 little persons. brbrDownstairs room has separate entrance and has 1 king bed, one set of twin bunk beds and 1 queen sized sleeper sofa. Also downstairs is one bathroom with shower. Laundry room with washer and dryer is also located downstairs. There is no interior stair case. You have to go outside in order to go between the upstairs and the downstairs of the unit.brbrPerfect set-up for the extended family, the teenagers will be happy downstairs in their own 'suite,' with HD smart TV, doing their own thing while the adults and rest of the family can be upstairs enjoying the outside deck and their own HD smart TV in the living room. If you have your own Netflix account, you can access it with the smart TV's.brbrLinens are included. Bring your own bath and beach towels. All bedrooms are upstairs and have remote control fans. The upstairs bath has been completely remodeled, highlighted with a spacious rock floor shower. Cable, Smart TV and wireless Internet is available, as well as board games, karaoke and a badminton set.brbrRentals are two-day minimum, a week minimum in the summer, from the end part of June through the end of August. It was one of the first homes built in the Twain Harte area, and we've worked to preserve the knotty pine and the traditional style elements that have always made it feel like a warm, rustic welcome to the California Gold Country, even as we've kept the kitchen appliances, furniture, and decorations updated for modern tastes and needs.brbrOur Twain Harte lodging comfortably fits eight to ten people.brbrWe provide blankets and pillows, along with the first roll of toilet paper and paper towels. There are complimentary sheets, pillow cases, & 10 shower towels. Please bring shampoo/conditioner, or other personal hygiene products.brbrBEDROOMS:brThis cabin has four bedrooms, along with a queen-size pull out sofa in the living room for adventurous children and unexpected guests. Room One, which is at the front of the cabin, has one queen bed; Room Two offers two twin beds and is located in the back of the cabin. Room Three is a loft bedroom that's ideal for kids, boasting two twin beds, a small TV, and access through a steep ladder that keeps the loft feeling like a secret hideaway. Keep watch on your kids in Room Four, which includes one queen bed, a small TV, the ladder to the loft, and its own door to the side deck. Note: This room is used to access the loft, so you lose a bit of privacy.brbrBATHROOMS:brThere are two full bathrooms in this spacious vacation rental, one of which is accessible from the house. The second bathroom is in the basement, which requires going outside and under the deck, but makes washing up when you've just returned from a long day of exploration much easier. Both bathrooms have a toilet, shower, and sink, and the basement bathroom has a complimentary washer and dryer, though neither bathroom is equipped with a bathtub. The tank-less water heater gives you endless hot water for your showers, but please try to keep your showers short, so that you can help your temporary neighbors in Tuolumne County fight California's current drought.brbrOTHER AMENITIES:brThe living room features a stereo system for your music, and a 47-inch big screen HD TV with Comcast cable to keep you up to date on all your favorite shows. You'll also have access to free, high speed Comcast Wi-Fi throughout the house. Just bring your own food to cook on the gas stove, your own coffee, tea, or cocoa to brew before going out for the day or staying in for a long, luxurious evening, or some charcoal and fluid for the charcoal BBQ waiting out on the spacious deck. brbrThere is no dishwasher, but if you're washing up your daily dishes at the sink when dusk falls, you may notice that some of the local deer, birds, and squirrels are coming out just behind the deck to pay you a visit. At night enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the trees lit up by outdoor lighting. Entering the home, you will be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows to showcase the natural beauty that surrounds you. Hardwood floors, tile, and new carpet throughout. Brand new furniture throughout the home. Updated kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, and gas oven. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need to prepare meals. Keurig with a variety of coffee pods. Three flat-screen TV with access to Roku and Netflix. Large movie library. 2 bedrooms, One bathroom with Shower. The shower has an oversized rainfall showerhead. Spiral staircase to lead you up to the loft/ 2nd bedroom area. Central heating throughout the house and wood-burning stove. There are 5 beds total. The main level bedroom has a bunk bed that features a full bed and 2 twin beds. The loft offers a Queen size bed and a futon that becomes a full bed. All beds have memory foam mattresses to ensure a restful night's sleep. The futon has a featherbed for extra comfort. We want to make sure you don't receive a hefty ticket from the city. brbrIn the winter months, we provide a hand full of fire starter sticks to help start a fire in the woodstove. If you are not familiar with making a fire we recommend that you bring up extra kindling. That could be fire starter sticks, old magazines, or newspapers. We do not provide firewood. There are several markets and gas stations that sell bundles of wood close to the cabin. brbr**House Rules **brThe Sweet Retreat is a sanctuary for couples, small families, and professionals seeking relaxation in a peaceful environment, we strictly do not allow more than 6 guests to spend the night. The Sweet Retreat comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults with 2 small children. WE DO NOT recommend a group of 6 adults due to the cozy size of the cabin and one bathroom. We have made exceptions to this rule with prior arrangements. brbrMemorial Day Weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, and the last two weeks of December starting at $239.00brbrPlease treat our home as you would your own. brbrIn the winter snow months, you will need 4 wheel drive and carry chairs. brbrAll trash should be in the garbage can with a lid to ensure that animals (BEARS) do not rummage through it to find food. The bear proof trash can is located in our gravel driveway near the road. brbrOur cabin has a septic tank. PLEASE ONLY TOLIET PAPER FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET. Please no feminine products or baby wipes flushed. Our septic tank thanks you! brbrPlease strip all beds of sheets and towels and place them by the bathroom for housekeeping. brbrPlease remove your shoes before entering the cabin. The area can be wet and muddy and the carpets are easily stained. brbrTo conserve energy In the winter, please utilize the wood-burning stove. If you are not sure how to operate the stove, We can guide you. brbrNo fires in the fire pit and wood stove in high fire season. Outside fires only designated fire pit area. A bucket of water needs to smother fire nightly to avoid the chance of spreading a fire within the community. All small warming fires need to be approved by owner first.
