The second bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and the laundry is on the second floor with bedrooms #2 and #3. brbrOn the second floor, between the bedrooms and the bathroom, there is a lovely landing space that offers a mid century modern office desk in front of the window looking over Tahoma for those who need to work a little while they play. The house is quite large (2400 sq. ft.) and doesn't just sleep 10 but actually accommodates that many *comfortably,* thanks to a modern kitchen with island, large living area, 2.5 baths, and off-street parking. We remodeled in 2010 using top-quality materials, all new appliances and fixtures, and brand new beds, but preserved details such as the monumental fieldstone fireplace and our family stained glass.brbrThe layout of the house is as follows:brbr1st floor: Two bedrooms each with two pairs of bunk beds and a double bed (so each is able to sleep five/six, nice for a single family or a bunch of tired skiers!), one full bath, a separate half bath, washer and dryer, wood storage, additional large closets and a spacious entryway, so plenty of room for boots, coats, and carriages.brbr2nd floor: Two more bedrooms, each with a double-size bed. If you're looking at this posting then we probably don't have to tell you that Tahoma is near some of Tahoe's best skiing--Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are less than half an hour away, and Homewood, one of the West Shore's best kept secrets, is literally right next door--and outdoor activities in all seasons.
