And during the warmer months, this room feeds directly out to the spacious lake-facing deck with outdoor dining table / chairs, a gas grill, gas wand heaters, and comfortable lounge furniture. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance). Also note that the left side of the garage is reserved for the Owner’s Personal Golf Cart. It is not included as part of the rental property is not to be touched. Please keep all people within your group off the Golf Cart. brbrNo wood burning fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill, electric pellet grill, deck heaters or gas fire pit). brbrTrash must be properly disposed of within the metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage. brbrHome must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home. brbrThe driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 6 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way). brbrThe easiest way to enter the house is through the attached garage. There are steps that lead up from the driveway to the front entry door. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property and hot tub area, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe some snow that needs shoveling. There are shovels located in the garage that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions.brbrDOLLAR POINT ASSOCIATION AMENITIES DISCLOSURE: Note that access to Dollar Point Amenities including the private beach area, community pool and tennis courts are not permitted by any Short Term Rental Guests per Association). brbrWINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.brbrALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, there’s always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. By accepting our house rules, you acknowledge this Advisory and agree that there will be no refunds or adjustments to pricing should you encounter a pest(s) within the home.
