San Diego's well known for its perfect weather year-round, so slip on your flip flops & enjoy La Jolla Shores' 365 days of awe!brbrThe La Jolla Shores Beach Bungalow has been completely redecorated with a clean, modern, beach aesthetic. brbrThe Beach Bungalow has 2 bedrooms and one full bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and comes stocked with many toiletries (including shampoo, conditioner & bath soap). Comfortable linens are provided. brbrOne bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed with a beachy vibe, room darkening shades and one set of linens provided. It's the perfect place to rest your eyes after a long day strolling the shores searching for shells or snorkeling with the (completely harmless but really beautiful) leopard sharks.brbrThe kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, microwave, toaster and Keurig. We have all basic cooking pans and utensils so you can stay in comfortably when you're not enjoying all of the restaurants, coffee shops and markets in the area.brbrThe living room area has plenty of seating including two sofas which can be pulled out into queen & full size beds. Linens are provided as well. Pease let us know if you plan on using the sofa beds so we can make sure all linens are ready for you. There is also a large tv in the living room area equipped with both cable and basic streaming apps. brbrThere is free WiFi throughout the apartment. brbrWe have boogie boards, beach toys, umbrella, beach towels & beach chairs available for your use. We also have a small selection of board games to occupy your time when you aren't out exploring the area!brbrPlease note that the La Jolla Shores Beach Bungalow is above a restaurant and right in the middle of the main part of La Jolla Shores, so there can be some background noise and music heard from the restaurant while it is open and people walking down the street. It isn't extremely loud but is audible. The restaurant closes at 10PM.brbrThe condo is on the 2nd story of the building, therefore all guests will need to be able to climb one flight of stairs to access the condo. There is no elevator available.brbrAs required by the city of San Diego, all our guests must review and comply with San Diego's Good Neighbor Policy. We will be requesting for your email address in order to send this document as well as the stay packet prior to your stay.brbrAlso, there is only street parking available. You may have to walk a block or few to get to the apartment when parked, however, we have not found it to be difficult to find parking during most of the year and give advice on where to look for parking if you do. In the summer months, on beautiful beach days, parking does become more difficult, but it becomes easier again overnight. I have, even on these days, been able to find parking following my recommendations. To avoid any issues on these days, you should plan accordingly but, if you can, we highly recommend leaving your car parked where you left it overnight and taking advantage of being only steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world:-) There is lots of non-time restricted parking in the area, so you can usually find a spot where you can park and leave your car, if that is what you decide to do! There is, additionally, a place close to the front and an alley in the back of the building where you can pull up and drop people & luggage off.

Sea World is just 3 miles away.brbrThe location is the best spot in all of Mission Beach. It is on the south side of Santa Clara Place (where the traffic light is), which means a non district area. It is far enough (1 mile) north of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It's located in a small apartment complex mixed with other vacation rentals and a few friendly locals. brbrRecreational opportunities abound. This beach rental is a few minutes walking distance to Santa Clara point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sail boats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available in all of these activities. What's more there are free yoga classes each day on the beach and two courts north. brbrIt is equally centered between Belmont Park (the roller coaster area) and Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, which are both 1 mile away, making this location removed from the tourist noise but yet accessible to the action if that's what you want. brbrThere is a fantastic surf spot at the beach for beginners to advanced surfers and great for spectators as well. Charming Vacation Flat: 5-minute walk to beach!

Our cozy apartment is one and a half blocks from the beach. There is a small front yard, a completely furnished deck with a barbecue grill, patio table, chairs and umbrella. Inside is tile and hardwood flooring. We also have board games and beach toys for the kidsbrbrBefore we start telling you about about how great our property is, we want you to know about two negative things right up front so you won't waste your time if they are deal-killers for you. The first being, that we are near the airport flight path and there will be considerable plane noise throughout the day. By law, the planes must stop running after 10pm, but there have been rare occasions that a plane will fly over anyway and pay the fine. Most people who stay here say they get used to it fairly quickly but if you are sensitive to noise or just looking for a quiet space, alas, this is not for you.brbrSecondly, we do not have off-street parking available. There is free street parking but understand that being a block from the beach can sometimes make it difficult. In the daytime, it's usually easy to find parking right out front, but as it gets later toward the evening, when people start coming home from work, it becomes more difficult. You'll always find a space, but you might need to widen your search perimeter. The good news is that there is soooo much in walking distance (restaurants, bars, dog beach, ocean beach, markets, shops, The Farmer's Market etc.) and a ton of attractions that are a cheap Uber ride away (Sea World, SD Zoo, Gaslamp, Belmont Park, Mission Beach and other beaches to name a few.)brbrNOTE: Only one pet per rental please.
