Relax with your family at this peaceful place to stay. On the shore of Kootany Lake just outside of Nelson. Close to all amenities, 20 minutes to skiing in the winter, and just steps to our private beach. The toys are there for you to share, use at your own risk of course. Before we can provide your door code, kindly reply to this message confirming your agreement, and include:br• The names and ages of all guests staying on the propertybr• The best contact number to reach you during your staybrbr General Rental Policybr• Treat property as your own home.br• “You break it, you buy it” – damages or missing items will be charged at replacement cost.br• Report any pre-existing issues upon arrival to avoid responsibility.br• Let us know immediately if anything goes wrong so we can fix it for your stay and for future guests.br• Quiet hours: 10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. Please be mindful of sound, especially outdoors.brbr No Wild Partiesbr• No loud or disruptive behavior allowed.br• If your group is disruptive, you’ll receive one warning. A second complaint will result in immediate termination of your stay with no refund.brbrNo unregistered overnight guests allowed. brVisiting hours: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.brbr Check-In / Check-Outbr• Check-in: Self-directed, anytime after 3:00 p.m. Door code will be sent the week prior to your stay.br• Check-out: 10:00 a.m. sharp on your departure day. Late checkouts: $50 per half hour (delays cleaner schedules).brbr Hot Tub Rules (Kootenay and Kaslo Suites only)br• Temperature: 95–104°Fbr• No children under 10, food, alcohol, sand, lotions, or pets allowed in the tub.br• Shower before use.br• Inspect water before entering. If cloudy, gritty, too hot, or has an unusual smell – do not use and contact us.br• Do not remove or tamper with filters, jets, or covers.br• Always close the hot tub and turn off lights/jets after use.br• Floating chemical dispenser must remain in the tub.br• Do not remove the filter cover on the Kootenay hot tub – it’s pressurized and can cause injury or damage.brbr Towels, Kitchen, Bathroom, and Laundrybr• Grey towels: for indoor use only.br• Colored towels: for hot tub or beach use.br• Extra blankets: if used, leave out for cleaning.br• “Scruffy” towels: for pets, spills, and cleaning only.brbr Smoking Policybr• Strictly non-smoking indoors (includes vaping and e-cigarettes).br• Smoking allowed outdoors at least 20 feet from doors, windows, and children.br• Any signs of indoor smoking will result in a $500 cleaning fee.brbr Pet Policybr• Maximum 2 small or medium dogs, $100 per dog per stay.br• Unregistered dogs: $200 each.br• Pets must be house-trained and non-disruptive.br• No pets on furniture or in the hot tub.br• Must be leashed outside and dried off before entering from lake.br• Do not leave pets unattended unless crate-trained and quiet.br• Owners must clean up and dispose of pet waste properly.br• If fleas are discovered after your stay, you will be responsible for remediation.brbr Private Beach & Beach Toysbr• No lifeguard on duty — use at your own risk.br• Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times.br• Beach toys (kayaks, paddleboards, etc.) are for registered guests only.
