It's close enough to be convenient but far enough away to make you feel like you're in the mountains. There is a neighboring cabin (Love Shack, also our cabin) about 100 yards away but the back deck is completely private and secluded.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrThe road up to the cabin is very STEEP. The access roads to this cabin are paved all the way except the last 100 yards (gravel) but do have an incline. The roads are wide road but there are a few blind curves. We can make it up in a Prius with no problem. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. If you want flat roads this is not for you. If you want to be near the park with a nice view and hiking nearby... look no further! Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended. 4-wheel drive is recommended for adverse winter conditions.
