This access can be slippery especially in the winter time, so use caution. In the winter check the tide schedule to make sure that there is plenty of beach to walk on. If the tide is too high on the beach when you wish to walk you can always drive to Nye Beach. On low tide hunt for agates, petrified shells, fish in the surf, relax and read a book, kids love to play in the creek and build sand castles. You can also ride our older beach bikes on the beach.
