Arch Cape has a two mile stretch of secluded beach with lots of tide pools, beachcombing, kite-flying, and bon-fires at sunset. You are close enough to enjoy the fun, restaurants, and shopping in Cannon Beach and still have your own quiet beach. Our coastal house, 'Ocean Landing', has a 20 foot high wall of windows facing the ocean and beach. You can relax in the beautifully appointed , yet cozy second story living room with your family and friends and watch the ocean waves roll in.......or head out the door onto the deck off the living area where you can make dinner on the BBQ and sip a glass of wine or read your favorite book. The living/dining, kitchen, bedroom with video game area and bathroom with skylight are all on the upper level and provide stunning views of the ocean, Castle Rock and forest/mountains. The kids will love grabbing some of the many beach toys, kites, and boogie boards provided and building sandcastles on the beach, collecting shells, exploring tide pools, or renting beach bikes in nearby Cannon Beach. You can also enjoy an Xbox 360 Kinect video game or other family games in the evening in a game area next to the living room. New workout bike in the garage. We provide a library of DVDs, books, family games, cards, puzzles, and video games. Now in its third generation of ownership, the current caretakers are professional filmmakers who decorated the spaces the same way they would a film set. Located at the south end of Falcon Cove Beach. Our beach house is a 5 minute walk down Tide Avenue to beach access. It has floor to ceiling windows with an open, bright and sunny, great room floor plan. There are ocean views from every window in this house. Nesting eagles can be seen near the southern tip of Falcon Cove where the cabin is located. A private location that is bright and sunny with a tree house feel. Falcon Cove Beach is also a designated Shoreside Marine Protected Sanctuary. Nestled in the forest of Oswald West State Park. We are justnorth of Short Sands camping sites and just 5 minutes from surfing at Oswald State Park. The Oregon Coast Trail takes you to Short Sand from Falcon Cove Road. It has one double bed, two queen beds, one with a twin bunk above. Extra linens and new towels in the laundry room linen closet. Extra blankets and pillows in each closet. There are three new mattresses and mattress covers. New bed linens, new duvet and covers, new pillows, new blankets for each room. New paint and new washer and dryer, new refrigerator and new pots and pans and a new microwave. New AC Heat pump for heating and cooling and no more fossil fuels in this home.brThere is a sunset viewing deck on the lower level with two side tables and four chairs. This quiet, peaceful retreat has a wood burning fireplace with wood provided. Enjoy our record player, bluetooth tuner, piano, books, games and puzzles. There is no TV. The dining table is large plus an extra folding table behind piano for crafts, games and puzzles. The large, open kitchen has all the necessary appliances, utensils, dinnerware and cookware. This includes a microwave, coffee maker and coffee grinder and toaster. Lots of dishware and utensils for dinners or cooking or baking. The First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguishers are in the kitchen and laundry room. There is a local herd of elk that visit frequently. This house is everything you could hope for when you visit the coast. This is a two bedroom two bath home with a nice airy open floor plan and large windows to enjoy the wonderful ocean view. The house has a reverse living design - with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living area upstairs. The living area has a glass sliding door that provides access to a wrap-around deck with spectacular views of the ocean. The kitchen and dining area are large enough to provide for lots of entertaining. The area, located just three miles north of Oswald West State Park and Short Sands Beach, provides plenty to do with hiking trails, beach walking and surfing. At low tide there is a nice sandy beach, just a couple minute walk from the house. There is also a TV/VCR/Stereo and plenty of reading material and games.
