Biketown bike share. Mt. Tabor and Laurelhurst Park. New Season's Grocery store and a new H-mart Asian Market. Powell's books and backyard chickens. This two-story tiny house has a full kitchen with a gas range, a washer-dryer combo, a truly comfortable bed, radiant heat for socked feet, 13 windows, 3 skylights and two red dutch doors.brbrWhether you're in town for business or to explore the city, this tiny house in one of Portland's finest locations with a straight shot to downtown and mere blocks from everything you could need or want is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood where rest comes easy. brbrThe house has a wrap around porch and a small patio ideal for morning coffee or an afternoon beer. For those rainy nights the metal porch roof will put you to sleep like a baby. brbrWe have recently moved out of the main house and headed off on an adventure to Casablanca, Morocco. The family living in the main house has no connection to the tiny house, but they are super friendly so feel free to say hello in passing. They also have a friendly dog who you might see during your stay. The tiny house is being managed while were away by Wes's sister Gretchen. She is more than happy to answer questions, offer suggestions and help in any way to make sure your stay is perfect, but with a private key pad entry the tiny house is set up to offer guests as much privacy as they wish.

Three-story Victorian-ish Rocker Townhome in St. John’s!

Welcome to my home in St. John’s! Upon arrival, you will be met with an eclectic but welcoming array of art and concert posters from a lifetime of being in bands and having many artist friends. It is a modern three-story condo/townhome built in 2020, masquerading as a Victorian with a dash of 70s overtones!brMy friend just helped me outfit the whole thing with comfortable decorations, plants, a box of tea selections, and even my Mom’s vintage stoneware dish set in the kitchen. There is an open floor plan on the second level, a gas fireplace in the living room and a second-floor balcony. My friend is helping me run it and is less than a mile away if you need anything.brMy house is also less than a mile from downtown St. John’s, an adorable part of Portland that has not been gentrified (yet), and Cathedral Park, a lovely park underneath the gothic St. John’s bridge, and a 7-minute drive across the bridge to Forest Park’s trailheads. It is also only about a 15-minute drive from the airport. brAcross the street is one of the best taco stands I’ve ever experienced, called Coyote Taco Truck. I’m also 1/3 of a mile from a Fred Meyer and about 1/2 mile from a New Seasons market. As far as parking goes, I don’t have a dedicated driveway, but there is free street parking available, usually within 1-3 car lengths of my front door.brI did short-term rentals of a room in my house in Salt Lake City and loved it. This is my first time renting out this property in Portland and I’m looking forward to it. I realize this is a new property, so thanks for taking a chance on me!

All keeping you as adventurous as your hearts content.brbrWelcome to Woodlawn neighborhood and to our home! Our first steps into the house transported us from city, to a getaway up in the trees. We hope it gives you that same feeling. Our guest home, which we named the Woodlawn Fort, was built in 1912, so you'll be greeted by the cozy lived-in unique qualities of a historic home. Settle in within the personally decorated eclectic-modern house surrounded by old-growth trees, while the occasional train horn, airplane and city sounds will be a reminder that you're close to civilization. brbrOn the main level you'll find the living/dining, and kitchen area that is open concept and fully equipped, the washer/dryer, and then the full bath featuring the unique sunken tub/shower combo. The rain shower head and shaving mirror accommodates even the tallest of tall humans. Window AC units will be provided during the warmer months. Take the stairs to the lower level and you'll find your bedroom with a Smart TV, and other essentials for you to unwind. brbrThe yard provides two separate deck areas. The first being the private entrance deck that welcomes you, perfect for sipping your morning coffee. The other deck is located on the other side of the house, equipped with a bbq to enjoy during the warmer months for outdoor relaxing.brbrGuests have full access to the house except my personal space in the lower level that is locked off. It has a separate entrance so if need be, I'll be able to come and go without disturbing you, but I make a point to be away during the entirety of your stay leaving you to your privacy to enjoy.brbr* Not suitable for the mobility challenged and small children within indoor and exterior spaces. There is a set of stairs up to the property, then there is a sloped pebble path to the Guest side-door entrance. Inside is a staircase to the lower level bedroom. The bathroom sunken tub/shower can be a potential danger. Home is not child-proofed. Artwork and fragile items are within arms reach that if grabbed, could cause harm/damage. brbr* There is an occasional train horn that sounds; ear plugs provided and can be found on the Welcome Wall for my light sleepers.brbrAdditional Rules: br- NO SMOKING/VAPING INSIDE: No smoking (cigarettes/weed) and/or vaping inside. Both are allowed outside. Please be kind and use the ashtrays provided and then dispose of butts in the inside trash.br- NO SHOE POLICY: Portland is a wet and muddy fun city. And heels will indent the wood floors. We keep a shoe-free home, so please remove your shoes when in the house.br- NO PETS: While I am an animal lover, no pets to be sensitive to guests with allergies. br- DOORS & WINDOWS: Please close up upon leaving to explore Portland and upon check-out, so that we don’t find any furry friends exploring our Fort. br- QUIET HOURS: 10PM to 8AMbr- PARKING: Street parking is free 24/7 all days. Any who wish to stay overnight must be approved.
